I love to do many kinds of paper art, scrapbooking and journaling. Jesus loves me & I am eternally grateful. I love being a wife, mom, Disneyland tour guide and former teacher.

Passions for Handel's Messiah, country music, CS Lewis, e e cummings, Max Lucado, Gaudi, The West Wing, Madam Secretary, NYC, Broadway, France, Yosemite, Santa Barbara, art museums & history. My favorite travels have been to France, New Zealand, Switzerland, Barcelona, London and the Cotswolds, Yosemite and Kauai.

I collect old and new Golden Books and pop up books for kids and adults, Disney and Disneyland items (the older the better!) Nativities and vintage 1930's, 40's & 50's Christmas ornaments & cards. (Maybe I'm stuck in the past!)

One of my favorite things about my job is that I get to assist many precious families visiting Disneyland through the Make a Wish Foundation!

  • TRYING HARD TO COLLECT City/state/international STARBUCKS CARDS (no $ left on them, just the cards) So far I have ones that say Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County CA & California, FL, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston & Tokyo ! (And they do change designs each year, so OK to send any of these really.)

  • watercolor
  • 1950's & 60's
  • Snow White, Mickey Mouse, Beauty & the Beast, Pinocchio & Dumbo
  • vintage Disneyland
  • retro
  • vintage
  • elegant
  • Paris, Provence & all things French
  • travel
  • children
  • motherhood
  • typewriters
  • bicycles
  • cameras

Currently crazy about:

  • local Starbucks cards (with no value left on them, I just love different city/state/international card designs!)
  • letterpress
  • paper dolls
  • pop-up cards
  • anything by artist Shinzi Katoh
  • anything by Rifle Paper Company
  • rub ons
  • Little Red Riding Hood
  • Golden Books (especially looking for Little Man of Disneyland) Love the 3" little Little Golden Books, too
  • images of pens & pencils, bicycles & typewriters
  • hedge hogs
  • anything by Graphic 45, especially ABC Primer and Mother Goose
  • Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs, Dumbo, Bambi, Jiminy Cricket, the original Mickey Mouse Club
  • Joan Walsh Anglund
  • Postage stamps/bookmarks/postcards featuring children's literature or Disney

  • children's book ephemera: dust jackets, ABC's, picture books, nursery rhymes, Caldecott nominees, Golden Books, stickers & book marks based on classic characters, bookplates. Especially loving Paddington Bear right now!

  • school theme, especially vintage: pages from readers, vocabulary/math flashcards, spelling & penmanship books, report cards, school awards, class photos, school stationery, logos.

  • Anything Disney, especially older items, pins, Mickey, Dumbo, Snow White, Dwarfs, Jiminy Cricket, Mary Poppins, Bambi, Thumper, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast

  • Anything related to the Original Mickey Mouse Club and Mouseketeers from the 50's ( I got to spend a whole day as Tour Guide with 7 of them at Disneyland for a special event - amazing fun!)
  • scrapbooking items
  • Anna Griffin
  • Susan Branch
  • Cosmo Cricket
  • Tim Holtz
  • 7 Gypsies
  • Stampington & Co
  • for Kawaii I like owls, Hello Kitty/Sanrio and Mickey Mouse
  • Joan Walsh Anglund
  • Eloise Wilkin
  • Beatrix Potter
  • Alain Gree
  • twill tape (plain or with words)
  • gelatos
  • glitter mist
  • misters
  • stick-on enamel dots
  • all things blue (esp. aqua, turquoise & sky blue)
  • old photos
  • French postage stamps
  • images of typewriters or fountain pens
  • pressed flowers
  • glassine bags
  • quirky little items to add to journal pages
  • airmail & snail mail themes
  • bookplates
  • view master reels, especially Disney related!

If you have rubber stamps, you could stamp or emboss some images of bicycles, typewriters or faces for me! If you have a Sizzix/Cricut type machine (I don't) I love the real intricate designs, like fancy flourishes, damask cartridge, etc.

stationery, notecards, ribbon, lace, buttons, recipe cards, magnets, post-its, quotes.

My PREFERENCE is always BLANK CARDS SENT IN AN ENVELOPE (if you don't mind.)

My favorites would be:

  • cards of watercolor art by Chihiro Iwasaki (love her children and flowers!)

  • cards by artists Shinzi Katoh, Mila Marquis or Cathy Delannsay

  • Maxicards (postcard with matching stamp and cancellation on image side of card)

  • map cards, especially foreign countries or unusual maps rather than states

  • cards with cut-outs

  • Mithila art

  • watercolor cards

  • sketch cards

  • travel poster art cards (like Anderson Design Group art cards of National Parks)

  • nouvelle images cards

  • Gotochi postcards (especially doll, character, food) - previously mailed are OK, too

  • Disney cards (especially The Art of Disney: the Renaissance and Beyond or the Golden Age, 1950's-80's series, Disney artwork or international Disney cards)

  • Cavallini postcards

I'd also love these themes:

  • Coca Cola
  • Joan Walsh Anglund
  • Mary Engelbreit
  • Richard Scarry
  • Pixar
  • classroom/teacher scenes
  • 1950's
  • artwork of Gauguin, Norman Rockwell, Andrew Wyeth
  • France - prefer artistic but photo images are nice, too
  • NYC prefer artistic, not photo image
  • Barcelona and Gaudi
  • giraffes, elephants, hedge hogs, but art not photo
  • dancers (any type)
  • National Park art cards
  • ocean, surfing
  • fairy tales, children's literature
  • mothers & children
  • typography/alphabet

  • steampunk
  • lilacs or lily of the valley
  • Tour de France
  • cards by Rifle Paper Company
  • Flow magazine postcards
  • Big Letter "Greetings from" state cards (have AK, AR, CA, CO, MN, NH, NJ, NM, VA, WA)

  • I do LOVE chocolate - mostly milk chocolate, or dark with caramel or peppermint or orange; dislike coffee and peanuts; not much into tea. Crazy about polka dots!

  • LOVE Christmas and put up 5 trees: an angel tree, a Mickey Mouse tree, a family tree with ornaments from our vacations, ones our kids made in school, etc., a mini tree with ornaments from our trip to the Christmas Markets in Europe and a vintage tree with ornaments from the 30's,40's & 50's!

THANKS for taking time to read my profile!
