I am an artist/engineer/mom/gardener/recycler/ dumpsterdiver. I make most of my mailart, and collages from dumpster treasures we find around this area. The whole family is seriously into resource rescue, and creative re-use. I love collage, painting, drawing, all colors, architecture, archeology, Asian art and design, nature, animals of all sorts, photography, mailart, book arts, paper arts, printmaking, eraser carving, etc. Check out my garbage art swapbot, postcrossing, and mailart cards on flickr.
Please don't buy anything to send me in a swap...I would prefer to get something you made or found. My artwork is 99% Garbage. I use dumpster treasures ( books, magazines, calendars, etc. ) to make my collages, and to make things I will be sending out. There is a wonderful feeling from saving an old book from the trash, and turning it into an artwork. The path to simple living on this planet...Reduce...Re-use..Recycle.
I would love it, if you made something out of recycled goods too, or send me something you found or made or recycled.
Our Motto #1: The Dumpster will Provide.
Our Motto #2: All things come to those who dive.

It may take a bit (I have a few letters to respond to and some swaps to wrap up) but I'll send you my description of my mind-space =) And thank you for the info on the postage! I will certainly be looking that up.
Thanks for the cool eggplant/aubergine postcard :-)
post office treated it fine, perfect condition.
Yo! Since my card from the "illustration for a fake story" swap definitely seems to have gone missing, I'm popping a replacement in the mail to you tomorrow. Hope all's well!

Thanks for the nice comment Kim, and on my birthday, too!
Your post cards truely are amazing...I'm not sure how i made my way to your profile (i think we are in a swap together somewhere) and i saw all the amazing comments, so i took a visit to your Flickr photos, and you truely do art, and even more amazing b/c it's all upcycled!!
Hey there! Thank you so much for a fantabulous and unexpected card! As it happens I love both beets and their greens. In fact, beet greens may even kick spinach to number two on my favorite vegetables list. Sorry it took me so long to let you know I got the card - the horrifying piles of clutter on my desk swallowed it up and it only just emerged as I was cleaning. -Stella
Thank you for the unexpected ox! Look for an ox-less postcard from me in your mailbox soon....
Thanks for joining the what a hoot owl postcard swap. It should be fun. I also enjoyed reading your profile and am secretly hoping one of your creations comes my way... Naomi
