I like to make Pocket letters and love all things to do with paper and paper crafting.
Love junk journals but so far i am only looking at how to make them and have not actually made one yet. I have completed a few magpie journals and quite enjoy filling the pages with my bits and pieces of daily life here.
I have just discovered dotee dolls since joining swap-bot and hope to make and receive one some day. They look so cute...and each one is so unique. It would be a treasure for me to own one.
I like vintage looking paper and embellishments.
I do not follow Disney movies so I do not really like the new Disney themes or characters.
I like woodland themes, animals, flowers, birds, artsy patterns and my washi tape collection is slowly growing so I am finding more uses for it....like everywhere!
I have a few hand punches but no sophosticated crafting tools/machines. I would be interested in exchanging or receiving punched paper.....I have a mason jar, egg shape, butterlies, small flower, daisy and batchelor button shapes that i could offer to you. I like all colors of paper.
I love notecards, postcards and writing paper sets. Actually anything to do with penpaling! (Such as stickers, washi, stamps). My preference for postcards are for new, not vintage ones as I do not collect or send vintage cards. I find they are not usually in pristine condition and are quite small. Touristy cards are also not my favorite but can be used in swaps. I like my cards blank, in an envelope, where possible.
Historical fiction, Mysteries, Crime drama, Also Vintage Illustrated childrens books such as Beatrix Potter, Winnie the Pooh, Aice in Wonderland, Dr. Seuss
Tarantino films Clint Eastwood films .
Dancing with the Stars,
The Voice,
Vera,
CNN news,
Goldrush,
Seinfeld.
Most British detective shows
My name is Carol and I live in the Province of Alberta , in Canada.
Please note, if you have not received your swap from me, please let me know before you rate me down as I always send by the due date and I always rate others as soon as I receive their swap....I want to always maintain my 5 rating! But I know that things can be late or disappear in postal systems so I would appreciate a message and I will gladly resolve the swap.
I Like to write letters (& receive them). Right now I have penfriends in Germany, USA, Spain, Russia, Canada and Ireland.
I Belong to Postcrossing and Postcard United so love to send and collect postcards. I like all kinds of cards but touristy ones are my least favourite and I find most postcrossers do not want a vintage card so I do not collect or send them. Recently, I have been less active on these sites since joining swapbot though as I like tradiing blank cards as much as written cards!
Tidbits about me:
-I have a Vera Neumann scarf collection of 300 plus vintage scarves
-Prefer rural life to city living.
-Like nature and camping, birds, animals.
-Love cats especially, but cannot have one at the moment....I like all cat related items.
-like Instagram, reading and eating out.
-prefer coffee or black teas
-Have one sister and one brother. (And one husband.)
-Love Russian culture, their folklore patterns, matryoska dolls, art, etc.
-like to visit museums, National parks and UNESCO sites.
-I am new to ATCs but find them fun. I am less an artist than a paper piecer.
-I m retired but have had a career as a municipal worker, also worked for a short time as a community librarian so I do love books, real books, not e-books. I belong to our local book club.
I like frilly, girly things and also enjoy thrifting, going to auctions and just general browsing in general. shopping, does not necessarily result in purchasing!
i do like the vintage "look" and antiques, especially glassware and dishes.
love all stickers,, postcards (not vintage), washi, paper, tags, magazine cuttings, diecuts, punches, buttons, ephemera, cards, notecards, and pretty much any flat items as long as they are NEW and CLEAN. Please only send items that you would be happy to receive yourself. That is how I put together my swaps for sending out and would appreciate the same consideration from anyone sending to me.
I am very easy to please and am happy with whatever you choose to swap with me....
I would appreciate receiving any type of :
ephemera,
Bookmarks,
Larger envelopes for mailing postcards, 4 x 6 or larger
return address labels,
Washi samples,
paper (all kinds),
stationery sets,
envelopes, (any size)
stickers (all kinds),

vintage embellishments
dotee doll, (only a wish)
charms
Die cuts
stamped images,

Thank you for the lovely cards and Pocket Letter from CPG Pick 2 Global Tag! They arrived today and I was very excited to get them (and the fox is so cute on the pocket letter n.n) Thank you again!
I'm so happy the washi rolls made it to you safe and sound, and that you like them :)
What an amazing and beautiful Travel Pocket Letter for the CPG Tag! So much layering and I love your technique of adding so many things on top of the pocket page in addition to all the detail on each ATC. Love the touch of washi trim on the spine binding, too, and the extra goodies in the back pockets! I feel like I got a wonderful tutorial on making pocket letters from a true expert artist. Thank you so very much, Carol.
Thank you for the pocket sleeve filled with pretty decorated tarrot themed cards!

Carol, thanks so much for the little magpie journal and card letter you sent back to me. I’ve just received it, it’s great!
