PLEASE! Contact me if you haven't received something. I always send and the postoffice is only human..(they make mistakes too). I don't want anyone unhappy. This is suppose to be fun for all of us...(-; I am a 67 y.o. woman who thinks she's only 33...lol...I am very family oriented, love to listen to books on my mp3 player, love to sew (my favorite color is colbalt blue and green) and am learning to quilt. I have 2 sons and a beautiful adopted daughter. My 7 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter are the light of my life. We will be welcoming a 2nd great grand baby into our lives at the end of April 2009.9 (FOOTNOTE) (-: Kona Christopher Lane was born 4/30/09...looks just like his daddy (handsome dude)!!!! Kona is an Hawaiian name meaning "great leader". Grand daughter in law is Hawaiian and beautiful...

I really enjoy all kinds of music except "rap" which I don't consider music. I mostly listen to "soft jazz" on 94.6 local station here in the Sacramento area. and of course I really love any thing to do with Motown. That's the music I grew up with, that and Elvis. Brings back a lot of good memories

I have read all of Sue Grafton's "ABC" murder mysteries series. And I love to read anything that is uplifting. "The Chicken Soup for the ........Soul" and "Guide Post Daily Journal" are my favorites. I also love to read and give as gifts "Simple Abundance...A Daybook of Comfort and Joy" by Sarah Ban Breathnach.

I really liked "Dirty Dancing" and had to laugh when it was set in the late 50's. Oh goodness we didn't dance like that!!.....lol My most recent favorite is Mama Mia. Any good "chick flick" is right up my alley.

Only watch it to relax to get to sleep....Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote, George Lopez. Light weight stuff. Do like to watch "The Dog Whisperer". I have learned a lot about training our dogs. It works if you keep at it....

I love to sew and that is my main craft. But I also do decorative painting and I am an engraver. I have engraved on wine bottles, gun stocks, actually anything except plastic or leather can be engraved. It's very nice to have something personal to give to someone.

Someone suggested that I put in my profile that I am glutton intolerant......so here it is. that is: I am allergic to anything that has wheat in it. I have learned to adapt most recipes to take care of that but hope that helps when sending me a recipe..
