I love to read! I also enjoy bath & body products and tea. I run a community theatre, so most of my time is spent doing theatre! I live my husband and our dog, Susa.

Favorite Music

70s & 80s are my favorite. I also like alternative, showtunes, folk, latin, dance, pop, rock, light hip hop, oldies, parodies, and some country, christian, and rap (just nothing too hard-core on these).

Favorite Books

Fantasy (but not sci-fi), Mystery, Horror, Gothic, Manga (especially shojo, josei, and yaoi), and YA (even though I am about 10 years too old)

Favorite Movies

Clue, Once Upon a Crime, Juno, Saved, Thank You for Smoking, Down with Love, The Changling, The Grudge

Allergies!

I am allergic to peanuts/peanut butter and cannot have anything that was produced in a facility that produces peanuts/peanut products.

Bath/Body/Candles Likes

I love all bath & body products and candles/tarts, but I am good on lotions and soap right now. I hate lavender and strawberry scents, but like trying everything else. My favorite types of scents are clean/watery and florals (except lavender). Bakery scents are also fun.

Comment: Thanks for your letter - I'd never heard the term 'dystopian' before, but the best example I can suggest that you may not have read would be 1984. I just re-read it now, 20 years after reading it in high school, and I enjoyed (and understood) it a lot more.

Comment: Ricki! :) No worries at all! I really appreciate your honesty and I can totally understand why you couldn't finish the book. Like you, I love animals and especially dogs and cats and cannot stand the thoughts of anyone abusing an animal. Thanks for the bookmarks and next months read will be a lot more enjoyable, right? We moved to Ellisville when I was 11 and my parents lived there for like 30 years! I went to Lafayette High scool! (graduated b4 you were born-lol!)
