About Me

I'm a fan of snail mails! I want to make our mailman happy by continuing this handwritten art. A mailman once said what a wonderful feeling for him/her to see smiles of recipients when snail mails come from friends and loved ones! ^^

Favorite themes (in no particular order):

(a) Traditional Weddings/Bridal Attire, (b) Tribal/Ethnic Performing Arts, (c) Tribal/Ethnic Attire & Accessories, (d) Kitchen & Cooking Utensils, (e) Seasonings, Spices & Ingredients, (f) Traditional Feasts/Food Festivals, (g) Open-Air/Local Markets, (h) Humor/Laughter, (i) Unusual Facts, (j) Irregular sized/shaped cards

If swaps require profile based, please select non-touristy types. Real, variety and colorful stamps on mails are appreciated.

I'm also interested in odd sized/shaped postage, bottle/boxed letter, and unusual material made cards/note cards & envelopes (i.e., magnetic, pressed flowers & leaves, textile, wooden).

I'm fond of quotable quotes. If you've one or more, feel free to share them.^^

I'm not fan of subjects and images on royal families, celebrities, head shots, politicians, statues/sculptures, reptiles, monsters, horrors and religions. Please save these themes for others who are interested.

I don't collect ad/free/used, zazzle/etsy, cut-out and self-printed card. Exceptions are when I join "ad/free"/"used" card titled swaps. Handmade items are acceptable (i.e., handicraft) if they're exclusive and in good quality, and are what senders like to receive as well.

Other than having loyalty for handwritten art, personal hobbies and likes include traveling, reading, cooking, tea & coffee drinking, classical music, soft rock music, musical drama, flowers, ladies handkerchief & scarf, organic goods, Anderson Fairy Tales, and Aesop's Fables!

I collect matchboxes, souvenir & fridge magnets, unusual bookmarks, airline poker cards/souvenirs, stuffed hearts, foreign bank notes, collectibles of Pepsi/Coca-Cola/Sprite/Fanta/7-Up/McDonald's, cookbooks, and delightful taste of healthy food and drinks!

Though I enjoy certain dessert and specific sweets, please DO NOT send me candies, gums, chocolate, cookies and any food items which easily melt, spoil or crush. They don't survive well in long mail journey!

As for tea, I like natural/original/organic flavors. Please save instant coffee/cocoa/milk tea mix, chai/spicy tea, and rooibos tea for those who like them!

(1) To Recipients: Mail delivery from my country to overseas is unpredictably between efficient and relaxed travel, even if it's "airmail".

Please allow up to 1.5 months (from sent deadline) for arrival of the swap. INFORM ME via PM BEFORE RATING if the mail has failed to reach you, and also, for concern on what you've received.

Your PATIENCE, Courtesy, and Willingness TO COMMUNICATE are Appreciated.

(2) To Senders: Kindly request to indicate full date, and personalize the written postcard/card/note/letter.

My preference on how postcard is sent is according to the swap requirement. If it indicates the written postcard to be sent is profile based, please have it mailed in an envelope (with the postcard written on as requirement indicates).

If you're going to or might send the swap late, please INFORM ME NO LATER than the deadline. It's a courtesy.

For ideas on what to write on naked card/postcard, for examples, describe where or how you got it, what you like about the image. Or, write about yourself. your thoughts, or your inspirations.

If the swaps require to send unwritten postcards/cards in an envelope or to put together a package, kindly request to include a note.

Swapping is not just about give and take, it's more of get to know who's who, and what's out there via the fun and sharing method! ^_^

Comment: Belated, belated thank you for this stunning The Light Between Oceans card -- I had wanted to read and then see this, especially because I love Rachel Weisz's and Alicia Vikander's work -- the gorgeous postage, and your wonderful message and beautiful handwriting :) I am glad Nepal has varied philatelic offerings, too :) I hope you are also having a good spring; it's always a good mail day when I receive a card from you!

Comment: The pie sounds yummy, I do love pastries! I'm glad it is only named after ox tongue and doesn't contain any! Lol. I was once tricked into trying cow tongue in Belgium...I live to tell but it really is NOT my thing!

Comment: Really funny! It reminds me of a rabbit I once had. We brought home a balloon from a party(one blown up by human, hot helium) and when the bunny hopped by it um, was attracted to the ballon, which was about it's size. I'll leave it at that!
