2-18-18 - WOW! Today I completed my 2,000th swap!!
I'm a senior software implementer who travels to client sites occasionally and work from home the rest of the time. My husband and I have no children. We dine out frequently and make Home Chef meals 3 times a week. I love things in rich jewel tones, like emerald and sapphire, and pastels, like pale yellows, pinks, greens and blues, elegant, classic, romantic, pretty, eclectic, cottage style, but nothing too cutesy (unless it's baby animals - they can't be too cute). While I love dogs and have had them in the past, I currently have cats, multiple cats - 2 male, 2 female.
2017 - In Review - Of the 631 mailings I sent out in 2017 only 27 of them either didn't get there or weren't acknowledged, a little over 4%. Of the mailings that were to come to me, only 22 didn't make it, or a little over 3%. So considering it was a year of natural and man-made disasters, swap-bot has been one of the bright points.
Soft rock, new age, classic rock, celtic, old standards, classical, movie sound tracks and jazz.
Casablanca, Enchanted April, anything by Alfred Hitchcock, old classic black and white movies. Anything animated. Period Pieces with gorgeous costumes, just about anything but horror.
The Blacklist, Flash, Gotham, Game of Thrones, NCIS (all 3), Criminal Minds, Masterpiece Theater and anything with a mystery just like the books I read. Also shows on History, Discovery, PBS, Nat Geo, Smithsonian, DYI or Biography that teach me something I didn't know. I've fallen in love with Korean RomComs, Dramas - modern and historical, K-pop, Flower Boys, etc on Hulu. I'm even learning a few words in Korean! Kamsa Hamnida (Thank you).
Sewing, quilting, paper crafts (collage, cards, quilling, etc), crochet, altered art, paper mache, painting, woodwork, clay, bead work, cross stitch, needlepoint, doll making. You name it, I'll try my hand at it.
I realized my profile doesn't really have enough info to help someone trying to decide what to send me so I thought I'd make a list of my likes and dislikes.
Postcards - I like all kinds of post cards - vintage, art, advert, travel, recycled, handmade - just about anything except ones with vulgar humor or overly religious ones.

Seahorses and Sea Dragons, Jellyfish, Sea shells, Starfish - pictures, photos, toys, stuffies, etc
