for making 12! crocheted ice cream cone favors for my little one's ice cream social party this summer! That was beyond generous! We are so excited to receive them and appreciate all the love and work you put into them. LB kept saying "they are sooo cute!" I'm sure they will be the hit of the party:) She suggested we should use them for a game first and then let every guest keep one. So, now I just have to come up with some sort of game;P I was thinking something similar to a beanbag toss with a target? We'll see, but truly, heartfelt thanks!:)
YUP! That's exactly why! In the last couple of years, the government has tried regulating the sale of handmade goods and resale shops by forcing them to label anything that might be considered for children. To include second-hand clothes being required to be marked with all the fibre contents, as well as whether or not it is fire-retardant. and to have proof that it has gone through stringent product testing to prove that it is "safe". You can read about it here and here BUT if you label it "not intended for children" then it is a sort of loophole that protects the crafter from having to perform this rigorous testing required by larger corporate manufacturers. Hope that answered your question! :) blessings, Gypsy
