My life is in a bit of turmoil again with the holidays approaching. I've been really emotional, depressed and moody lately. I've started working from home as a genealogical researcher so that I can set my own hours. I'm hoping this will help me be able to deal with the depression and nightmares that have returned. Some days it's really hard to get out of bed. My husband has been helpful in inviting me outdoors on the sunny days for walks around the neighborhood. I'm still on anti-depressants and medicine for my fibromyalgia. I'm back from medical leave from skating, so I am back on the derby team and practicing twice a week. I miss my mom terribly, and really wish the holidays were over already. I don't even feel like putting up a tree this year. I'm just really really down, and so I'm staying away from swapping until I feel I can actually complete a swap on time. I'm just so depressed. I'm really sorry.

I feel like I'm starting over I'm slowly making my way back to Swap-bot after a super long vacation from it. I've had way too much bad luck for one person to bear in the last 3 years and I just had to take a break.

I have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Depression as a result of finding my father after he shot himself May 11, 2012. I am currently taking Prozac and Ambien (for the nightmares I have). I have moments of panic at certain sounds or sights and start sweating and shaking all over. My psychiatrist says it could be years before the symptoms go away. I'm sharing this because it could affect my ability to swap.

I'm from Carbondale, Illinois USA but I am now living in DuQuoin, Illinois. It's about 30 minutes north of Carbondale.

I store my ATCs in binders with 9 pocket pages, so please keep this in mind when making cards for me. I like to keep all my cards stored safely, but if they are really embellished, or have things hanging off the sides, then I am unable to store them properly. Thanks for your consideration. As of September 25th, 2012 I began training to skate for the Southern Illinois Roller Girls as "Summer Ovlove"

My little brother died in a car accident October 13, 1998. My mother died from cancer on July 23, 2009. My tabby cat Augen died from cancer on Dec. 25th, 2011. My father died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on May 13, 2012.

I have two kids.

My son Luther is almost 21 (b. March 25, 1992)

My daughter Bailey is 18 (b. August 26, 1994)

I drink tea (any flavour BUT peach, ginger or pomegranate) and coffee.

I love all things cherry, cherry scented and cherry flavoured. Lavender too. :)
