About Me

I am a grandmother living in New Zealand with 8 grandchildren. I was born in Holland but have lived in New Zealand for 49 years.

I am new to the field of ATCs having just swapped a few with other New Zealanders and a few with people living in Australia and England. I am really keen to get the opportunity to be able to swap in a number of different topics and was introduced to this site by my daughter who has also joined up.

Likes/Dislikes

I enjoy receiving ATCs in collage, hand drawn and those where people have taken some care in producing.

I dislike oriental themed cards and cards where it seems like people haven't really been bothered with the production.

I also feel strongly about people taking part in swaps and then not following through with them. The whole thing about ATCs are they are supposed to be traded. I am looking forward to receiving some great cards.

Favorite Crafts

I am an amateur artist, painting in watercolours and acrylics. I also do a variety of handcrafts such as quilting, knitting and crochet.

Favorite Books

I enjoy reading Historical Romances. I have also been known to spend some time completing crossword and word puzzles.

Response: Thanks qbee for your rating on my stamp card,the fern leaf is a real leaf but I painted it silver as that is the NZ symbol.Looking forward to doing more swaps elsd

Wow, Els! What a fantastic job you did on my "Finish the ATC" card! I LOVE the image and the shell and I REALLY love the extra ATC you send, as well as all the goodies!!! Unfortunately, it seems like our host didn't think through the ratings very well, 'cause I don't have the option to rate you for the fantastic job you did on my ATC - I only have the option to rate the person who sent me their unfinished ATC. :( Oh well - if I could, I'd give you a 5 with a heart!!! Thanks again!
