I'm an elementary school teacher. When I have the time, I like to make crafts, bake, play volleyball, read mysteries, and shop. My favorite colors are red, blue and purple. My favorite animals are bees, dogs, giraffes and hedgehogs. I collect things with bees, antenna balls, handcrafted items by others, handmade bracelets, snowmen, souvenir pens, and souvenir magnets. I love Asian things, especially Japanese craft magazines (I understand a little of it), fabrics and kawaii products (Sanrio, San-X, Kamio, etc.). My ultimate favorite character is Sweet Coron. I love to try all kinds of different foods, especially chocolate. I travel at least once a year and love learning about new places, especially about local eateries and local foods. There are no Target, Jo-Ann's, Bath & Body, and Trader Joe's stores where I live so anything from them would be greatly appreciated.

Note- I am allergic to dairy products(lactose-intolerant), floral-scented products, and things that smell like cigarette smoke.

I listen to most types of music EXCEPT rap and hip-hop.

I love Poltergeist, Uncle Buck, Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, My Cousin Vinny, The Natural and Beauty and the Beast.

I like to watch 24, X-File reruns, Prison Break, all of the CSIs, Monk, Psych, Project Runway, Top Chef, What Not to Wear, Fringe, anything on the Food Network and Oprah.

I know how to sew and do any art & craft project elementary students can make for the holidays. If that scares you, I did minor in Art in college so I do know how to paint and draw. My current favorites to make are dotee dolls and matchboxes. I also do some scrapbooking, rubber stamping, lei-making and beading. I'm starting to get into ATCs and making stuffies. Craft supplies for any of the mentioned crafts will be put to good use. I admire and appreciate other people's talents so handmade swap items are the best! I especially like crocheted or knitted things because I have no clue on how to do either of these crafts.
