Hi Eric!!! I'd love to do a swap with you for the firework postcard you have of New York City! I have map cards, vintage travel & typical touristy postcards from Hawaii!
Thanks, Eric! I received your mail art enevelope ... & your letter :) Love the planes theme! Congratulations to You & your wife on your new home! I shall reply, but at the end of May,& hopefully send You few non-boring stamps from India! Regards,Shreela.
I randomly found your profile and just thought I'd leave a comment about your taste in music... which I approve of. :-) French pop from the 60's... I don't know too much, but I know and like some of the "ye ye" singers (did I get that name right?) I especially like "Cet Air La" by France Gall. Oh, and I love Aimee Mann and the Jayhawks, by the way. :-)
It WAS Vermont - right across the border (can't think of the name of the city at the moment, just that they had the nuclear power plant)! I was in MD back when the Twins played the Orioles in the World Series of 1969. Think Boog Powell days. ;o) Okay, I think that was his name - he was, I think, the Orioles biggest power hitter at the time? My Baltimore born & raised girlfriend talked our Lt. into letting her bring in a tv to work so everyone could watch the game while we worked. She didn't have to work too hard at it. ;o)
The Orioles beat the Twins. :o(
Just to tell you that the Happy Feb. post card you sent with all the wonderful stamps (raccoon) came through without the stamps being cancelled! Someone in the post office must have been unable to bring themselves to mess them up that way. So that card is definitely a keeper! Thanks again!

One last time! Happy 1 year swap-botiversary!
I know I'm a few days early, but I'd probably forget by Thursday. ;o)
