I love Paper Caper font! Thank you for alerting me to it. Ohhh!!! <3

Thank you so much for the lovely postcard you sent from C&P mail art network! I loved it! You made my day!

Oh, Fi, that is such a beautiful photo of Annabel Lee. Makes me miss my Gorbychops (Gordon!) so, so much though. Their resemblance to each other is amazing. (Actually, Annabel Lee looks more like Oscar, Gordon's slightly-better-looking twin brother.) Also, thank you so much for your most recent PC. I know I owe you big time! I don't understand this 'block' I have, but I haven't given up! It... just looks like I have... xx

Thanks for the lovely note on my profile. It was fun to read yours. I love Laurie Anderson, too. Just recently I was listening to her "Beautiful Red Dress" and "Baby Doll". We just recently discovered "Breaking Bad" and burned through all the series and can't wait for the new to start up again. If you like horror and such, surely you've discovered "The Walking Dead"? If not, check it out. They just finished airing Season 2 and Season 3 is in the fall.

Hello, wonderful Fiona--The semester is getting nuts but I will write soon. In the meanwhile, I wanted to thank you for your recent postcards & to tell you that I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the collage!

misscorbeau on Mar 17, 2012:

YES, FI! It was from the cover of Wired and the article was about growing dinosaurs from chickens--backwards evolution.

) <----There's the closed bracket I forgot last time. Of course you know how to root - for me, for your team, for truffles. Why did I consider anything less? Funniest related sign I ever remember seeing was a truck emblazoned with ROTOR ROOTER! Or perhaps it was ROUTER, which we pronounce 'rooter' anyway. Or 'roota' - let's be honest. MIL-related news is slight today, and that's a good, good thing. xx

papercaper on Mar 10, 2012:

I appreciate you rooting for me, Fi! Who needs an excuse to root (if we're on the same page), but doing it for my sake is absolutely lovely. Awww. (PS: The trouble with making several friends at once is that I get cloudy about who I've said what to in the past... Have we discussed the Aussie meaning of 'to root'? Is that why you wrote it, or was it just a cute coincidence? PPS: And yes, I am stuck in Nitaville. Weather's not always great here. Thanks for enquiring. XO

Thanks for the fabulous art postcard (mail art network yeah!) and hey there Gumby, lookin' good! I need to read that whole poem now, the word order and sound patterns are so thought provoking. I should have taken a picture of my thrifty outfit from Friday but I forgot! I need to start on my mail art karma myself now--It's so good to create. Starting a new job tomorrow--it's a fresh beginning and I'm excited ^_^ Hope you're having a great week.
