I'm a teacher of Latin and ancient Greek at a small college. I enjoy:
wildflowers, birds, clouds, trees
art history in general, but especially abstract art
book-binding, pamphlets, and zines
reading fiction of all sorts, with particular interests in 19th c. British novels, children's literature, and adaptations of myths and fairy tales
word art such as centos, found poems, and altered text
I hesitate to list any particular dislikes, but here's one: I'd prefer not to receive any images related to hunting, fishing, or eating meat.
The Man Who Came to Dinner, Evil Under the Sun, The Women (1939 version), House of Flying Daggers, I Heart Huckabees, Ushpizin, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Stranger than Fiction, About a Boy, Being Julia, They Came Back (Les Revenants), Meek's Cutoff.
My favorite authors include Anthony Trollope, Wilkie Collins, E.M. Forster, Angela Carter, Charlotte Brontë, and Jane Austen.
Taking photographs; binding books and designing pamphlets; making collages and abstract pieces.
This probably goes without saying, but please let me know if you haven't received something from me when you should have--I haven't dropped the ball so far, and I'd like a chance to re-send if something got lost in the mail. And I promise to rate my partners in a timely way, too.
