I go to school and work as a receptionist. I am really involved in finding and messing with computer programs I find online especially ones for flash drives.
I also like to geocache, kayak, camp and fish. It is beautiful here in Florida and I like to take every opportunity I can to enjoy it.
I am involved in the Catholic church and teach Sunday school for 6th graders. Mostly it's just fun to come up with new games for them to play that tie in the lesson for the day. If you have an idea for a game that I can use especially in teaching the Old Testament I am all ears.
I like exotic and eclectic things and have odd assortments of objects that are not related but I love them just the same. I like green mostly as my fav color but really like any color except camo green and yellow.
I also love math and am called nerdy alot by my brothers. But I can't blame them too much. I celebrate Pi Day every year. Also they named our cat Java and I about died of laughter when I saw that she had caught a bug. I mean come on!! Java has a bug... hehehe. Ok, maybe a little more geeky than I should admit, but if you get that you are my kind of friend. =)
My brother and I recently moved out of our parent's house to an apartment. It is an adjustment to say the least and I do not think one I am too fond of but it was time to spread our wings a little.
Hmm TV is usually on when I am messing with the computer, or doing homework, or... You know what it's always on so I watch alot and listen to more.
I would say the most watched are The Middle; Modern Family; Leverage; The Mentalist. I loved Malcolm in the Middle, Dollhouse, Firefly, The Finder and Dead Like Me but with them being canceled and all I don't think they count too much anymore.
Movies Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, The Italian Job, Oscar, The Bad Seed, Ocean's Eleven, Narnia, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Yaya Sisterhood, Spirited Away
I am sure there is more but I can only think of these.
Anything by Neil Gaiman; Scifi genre; To Kill a Mockingbird; The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe; all of the Harry Potter books but the 3rd is my favorite, Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness quartet and Cassandra Clare's Immortal Instruments.
My favorite fairy tales are Three Billy Goats Gruff, Rapunzel and Red Riding Hood.
I think Red Riding Hood is my subconcious favorite because I am drawn to the movies and already 4 different versions of it, including an awesome musical. Haha.
I am starting to get into mystery but haven't found a favorite author yet.
Knitting, Crochette, Beading and Jewelry making. I am still a basic knitter and very basic crocheter but its still fun. One day I may learn more. May.
I am building up a cool collection of ATCs since joining Swap-bot. Also I love learning how to use different mediums to make them come out just right. =) Seeing how creative everyone gives me great ideas on how to better mine.
I like to use markers, pens, pencils, chalk, pastels and any other medium I can get my hands on.
I like cute things I can use in the office (pens, pencils, post-it notes). I like math, fairies, geeky things, robots, monsters, dinosaurs (especially stegosaurus), space (ever go to the GalaxyZoo website? very cool), owls, nice looking panthers not snarling ones, flowers, carnivals, the circus, zoos, ducks, spiderman (I have a bird named Pete and a cat named Parker hehe)...
Oh I LOVE the Crayola LIV markers. If anyone could give me a heads up on where they are being sold I would love to know. Thanks.
Colorful and creative things are awesome. I display ATCs around my desk with miniature hamster erasers and rocks painted into critters. Like I said easy to please. Hehe this funny thread makes me laugh each time.
I also love postcards. I am in postcrossing and have all the postcards I have recieved in an album. I show them off to anyone who is interested. Dorky right? I like real picture PCs not cartoon or drawn ones (like the ones with Mickey superimposed on to a picture of a real beach). Hand made are awesome though. Cool stamps are a plus.
As far as food stuff. Chocolate is good (especially Lindt salty chocolate) and will always earn you a heart! That is right, I can be bribed haha. Licorice (esp the salty kind), foreign and odd candys are all welcomed. =) and I love hot chocolate. Please no hard candy. Tea is ok, I am starting to get into it, and I don't drink coffee.
Please no Wicca things. Thank you.
