I am a first year university student in Sydney studying (or "studying") Psychology and English Literature.

If I could go back in time, one of the things I would like to do is see how authors like Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters and Virginia Woolf had lived. And I'd like to give them hugs.

I like picture books such as "The Little Blue Parcel", "The Red Tree" and "Henry and Amy". Right now, I'm reading "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.

Some bands and musicians include Tegan and Sara, Sarah Blasko, Brooke Waggoner, Eisley, Holly Throsby, Jens Lekman, Laura Veirs, Regina Spektor, Sigur Rós, Sufjan Stevens and the National.

I don't like Muse, Radiohead, Slipknot, death metal, country or 50 Cent-style rap. Yes, I'm missing out on something awesome but I'm happier this way.

Some include The Black Balloon, Imagine Me & You, The Hours, Amelie, V For Vendetta, Juno, Mean Girls, Donnie Darko, Fingersmith, Before Sunrise, Fried Green Tomatoes and To Be Or Not To Be (1942 version).

Jackie Chan films are my favourite too.

30 Rock, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Criminal Minds, Eli Stone, Good News Week, House, Rockwiz, Scrubs, Spicks and Specks, and Spooks.

My goal in life is to crochet a shoulder bag.

Perhaps a better goal is to learn how to crochet first.

I tried making a felt toy when I was eight. It didn't turn out well. These days, I'm still the least creative person I know. I sometimes make CD covers out of postcards I find, though.

I do not like Sanrio (e.g. Hello Kitty) characters. I also do not like things with skulls, blood, clowns, insects or anything depicting violent, homophobic, sexist, racist or religious beliefs on them.
