Not what you'd call a people person. I seem to be categorically incapable of drawing or cutting a straight line. Good at failing to live up to my potential. Bad at self-presentation. Obviously.
I knit. I've gotten out of the habit lately, but I'm trying to get back into it. I've never gotten into paper crafts much (though I find the trappings fascinating), but I have been trying to keep a bullet journal since the start of 2015. I still tend to be too lazy for extensive decoration, but occasionally I try to remember to slap in a sticker or some washi tape to brighten things up. I used to do mixed CD swaps all the time until they were banned.
I haven't been very active on swapbot recently, but I always check in every now and then to see if anything sparks my interest. I've never been an uber-swapper who can take on 20 at a time, but I will always send what I sign up for.
The Decemberists, Notwist, Modest Mouse, Badly Drawn Boy, Menomena, Rufus Wainwright, Dismemberment Plan, Deerhoof, Sufjan Stevens, Animal Collective, The Unicorns, Neutral Milk Hotel, Psapp, Metric, The Black Keys, Aimee Mann,...
I've been more drawn to instrumental music lately, particularly piano music both contemporary and classical (e.g. Eluvium or Vladimir Horowitz playing Mozart's sonatas).
The only thing I tend to outright shun is country music. No offense to those who enjoy it, the sound just has zero appeal for me.
Royal Tenenbaums, L.A. Confidential, Fight Club, Clue, Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Pride and Prejudice (BBC miniseries of course), Dead Poet's Society, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I Heart Huckabees, The English Patient, The Philadelphia Story
Watching: Adventure Time, Orphan Black, Sherlock, Penny Dreadful, Teen Wolf, The League, Supernatural, The Venture Brothers, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Doctor Who. Sometimes I'll watch a random K-drama or two.
Still love: Misfits, Veronica Mars, Wonderfalls, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Queer as Folk, Kids in the Hall, various anime series
Good Omens, the Raven Cycle, Johannes Cabal the Necromancer, Harry Potter, Wicked, Apathy and Other Small Victories, The Gay Science, Rosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead (technically a play)

Podcasts: I never miss an episode of Welcome to Night Vale or How Did This Get Made.
Webcomics: Hark, A Vagrant, XKCD, Questionable Content, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, Three Word Phrase, Starfighter
Colors: My favorite color is blue. Lately I've been obsessed with blue-greens, but I also like purple and dark reds. I do not like yellow, orange, and most pinks or browns.
Scents: Apple, Leather, Tea, Clean scents (watery or citrusy). Don't like food scents with the exception of fruity stuff.
Edibles: Tea (mint, apricot, and earl grey are favorites), Practically anything strawberry-flavored, Dried fruit (especially mango or cantaloupe), Chocolate is okay without nuts (not an allergy, just a preference), Cheese, Pickles, Garlic, Irish Whiskey. I don't drink coffee.
Craft-wise: I do knit, as mentioned. I don't make ATCs and I wouldn't know what to do with ones I receive unless they were specially made with me in mind, but for that, you'd probably have to know me better than swap-bot allows. In the end, however, I'll always appreciate anything that's clearly had a lot of thought and care put into it.
Miscellaneous: Nail Polish, Eyeliner, and Mascara in non-traditional colors, Chapstick/Lip Gloss, Handmade bookmarks, Notecards, Things that help me organize my environment even when my brain is in chaos, Comics, Sudoku.
Things that may or may not be relevant to Swapping in any way: Warm breezy days, Driving, The smell of books, Languages (English and Foreign), The crunching of dead leaves, Playing dress-up, Honesty without judgment, Psychology, Irony, Subtlety, Sleep.
