About Me

UPDATE: I am now officially moved, please send everything to the address now listed, if anything is returned to you saying that the address is wrong, please make sure you have sent to the new address, thanks!

I love to read, swap, listen to music, sip on tea or flavored coffee.Coffee is heaven in a cup, plus the only way I can function. All while cuddling my adorable dog! I am currently doing a lot of deco pages and reading a ton to relax. I am disabled with fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder. Jedi, my bichepoo (bichon frise & mini poodle mix) is my emotional support dog.

I will be moving at the end of March and will update my address around the middle of March so as not to miss any swaps.

I live in an apartment, with bf. I live in a medium-sized town smack between Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL. The most famous person to come out of my hometown/current town of residence is Mark Ruffalo.

Swaps

I click for having sent the item on the date I put it in the mailbox, even if it's a holiday or Sunday and it will be picked up the next day, so if the date on the envelope doesn't match the sent day, this is why.

If something doesn't arrive please contact me, and I'll do my best to resend, please try to contact me before rating me a 1 or 3. I will never not send something,

I will message you if I will be sending late, which will happen very rarely! I don't have a car, due to my disability, so my bf mails things for me or takes me to the PO, so if something is late that is probably why.

Hi Colleen! I'm cheating a bit because I read this book before September, but here is your quote for the Book Quote swap (Sept) - hope you like it!...

"Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge." - from Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth.

(And here is another from the Harry Potter series, since I see you are a fellow fan!!...“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” - Albus Dumbledore))

“Thanks,” I said. Creepy, creepy, creepy. I didn’t add that he smelled like meat. Not that I could. Apparently, choking helped me keep my mouth shut and mind my manners.

-Lish McBride, Hold Me Closer, Necromancer

Book Quote - September

"If you will allow Poirot to offer you a piece of wise advice: the pursuit of revenge is rarely a good idea."

Book Quote - August

“Over time, Xan had started making certain preparations - a blanket woven of the softest lamb’s wool to wrap the child and keep it warm, a stack of cloths to freshen a wet bottom, a bottle or two of goat’s milk to fill an empty tummy. When the goat’s milk ran out (as it invariably did - the trek was long, and milk is heavy), Xan did what any sensible witch would do: once it was dark enough to see the stars, she reached up one hand and gathered starlight in her fingers, like the silken threads of spider’s webs, and fed it to the child. Starlight, as every witch knows, is marvelous food for a growing infant. Starlight collection takes a certain knack and talent (magic, for starters), but children eat it with gusto. They grow fat and sated and shining.”

August Book Quote 📚

"The caterpillar goes into the chrysalis, her grandmother had said. And then it changes. Its skin changes and its eyes change and its mouth changes. Its feet vanish. Every bit of itself - even its knowledge of itself - turns to mush.

'Mush?' Luna had asked, wide-eyed.

'Well,' her grandmother had reassured her. 'Perhaps not mush. Stuff. The stuff of stars. The stuff of light. The stuff of a planet before it is a planet. The stuff of a baby before it is born. The stuff of a seed before it is a sycamore. Everything you see is in the process of making or unmaking or dying or living. Everything is in a state of change."
