About Me

UPDATE: I am now officially moved, please send everything to the address now listed, if anything is returned to you saying that the address is wrong, please make sure you have sent to the new address, thanks!

I love to read, swap, listen to music, sip on tea or flavored coffee.Coffee is heaven in a cup, plus the only way I can function. All while cuddling my adorable dog! I am currently doing a lot of deco pages and reading a ton to relax. I am disabled with fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder. Jedi, my bichepoo (bichon frise & mini poodle mix) is my emotional support dog.

I will be moving at the end of March and will update my address around the middle of March so as not to miss any swaps.

I live in an apartment, with bf. I live in a medium-sized town smack between Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL. The most famous person to come out of my hometown/current town of residence is Mark Ruffalo.

Favorite Music

Alt Rock above al particularly Panic at the Disco, Mariana's Trench, and Green Day Pop/Top 40- or at least I loved it in the '90s and 00's (think P!nk, Blink 182, etc) Pop-Country if that makes any sense- Like Blake Shelton Soundtracks- 10 Things I Hate About You, RENT (movie cast), and A Walk to Remember Soundtrack Broadway- WIcked, RENT (Broadway cast), and Avenue Q

Favorite Books

Anything by Dean Koontz or Ellen Hopkins, I love Caraval, The Mortal Instruments, anything YA, but especially contemporary and fantasy YA. I LOVE book boxes.

Harry Potter of course!

Favorite Movies

Anything by John Hughes, Saved, A Walk to Remember, 10 Thing I Hate About You. Really most 80s and 90s teen movies.

Harry Potter, again.

Favorite Television

Joss Whedon shows, and Stranger Things. 90s-00s shows for older teens.

Favorite Crafts

Any type of paper crafts (mostly mini pls, and decos), I have mostly have been focusing on the decos, and use scrapbooking paper, stickers, lace, edging, glitter, embellishments, photographs, greeting cards, postcards, and images from magazines.

Dogs and coffee are two obsessions of mine. I can name most dog breeds by sight or description. I love Starbucks!!

My favorite colors are pink, purple, teal, and mint green. I love books, chocolate, coffee, tea, and dogs, as well as anything to do with those things.

I collect coffee mugs. I also collect bookish items (my favorite are candles) as well as dog-themed items.

I like to play the computer game The Sims 4 and I am currently working on the legacy challenge.

I love candy, mostly chocolate, I prefer milk or white with some other flavor or a filling, caramel, mint, raspberry, peppermint, orange coffee.

I love candles, I really love the ones with sweet or book themed scents.

Tea: Herbal

Stickers: craft quality stickers, animals, food or drink, non-religious holiday stickers

Harry Potter anything! I'm a Hufflepuff.

Colors: greens-not of the shade mentioned in likes, orange, and brown.

Scents: floral or woodsy or smoke

Topics/themes: Sexism, racism, misogyny, harm to animals or children, religion, homophobic.

Tea: Caffeinated

Stickers: Cheap or kids stickers, religious, puffy

I HATE when people send me religious items-especially promoting a specific religion or church. Please do not include or send anything religious including bible verses.

I click for having sent the item on the date I put it in the mailbox, even if it's a holiday or Sunday and it will be picked up the next day, so if the date on the envelope doesn't match the sent day, this is why.

If something doesn't arrive please contact me, and I'll do my best to resend, please try to contact me before rating me a 1 or 3. I will never not send something,

I will message you if I will be sending late, which will happen very rarely! I don't have a car, due to my disability, so my bf mails things for me or takes me to the PO, so if something is late that is probably why.

Book Quote - August

“Over time, Xan had started making certain preparations - a blanket woven of the softest lamb’s wool to wrap the child and keep it warm, a stack of cloths to freshen a wet bottom, a bottle or two of goat’s milk to fill an empty tummy. When the goat’s milk ran out (as it invariably did - the trek was long, and milk is heavy), Xan did what any sensible witch would do: once it was dark enough to see the stars, she reached up one hand and gathered starlight in her fingers, like the silken threads of spider’s webs, and fed it to the child. Starlight, as every witch knows, is marvelous food for a growing infant. Starlight collection takes a certain knack and talent (magic, for starters), but children eat it with gusto. They grow fat and sated and shining.”

August Book Quote 📚

"The caterpillar goes into the chrysalis, her grandmother had said. And then it changes. Its skin changes and its eyes change and its mouth changes. Its feet vanish. Every bit of itself - even its knowledge of itself - turns to mush.

'Mush?' Luna had asked, wide-eyed.

'Well,' her grandmother had reassured her. 'Perhaps not mush. Stuff. The stuff of stars. The stuff of light. The stuff of a planet before it is a planet. The stuff of a baby before it is born. The stuff of a seed before it is a sycamore. Everything you see is in the process of making or unmaking or dying or living. Everything is in a state of change."

“I have ceased concerning myself with how things look to others, Abigail Rook. I suggest you do the same. In my experience, others are generally wrong.”
