About Me

As you may have guessed, I am the Mom to a Scout -- a Boy Scout, who made Eagle Scout to be exact.

I enjoy the outdoors: camping, hiking, swimming, canoeing/kayaking.

like FABRIC!!! ;) How easy can I be?

Okay, now to be serious. (Do I hafta?! scuffing feet on the carpet)

I'm NOT wild about: Kaffe Fosset prints, flannel, wool, & canvas.

I quilt, so cotton or mostly cotton blends are wonderful.

My favorite color is PINK. I love AMISH style quilts (brights on black). I'm drawn to BRIGHTS. POPPIES are one of my favorite flowers. My son is in the US NAVY and that shows in some fabric choices.

I seem to be drawn to the "Timeless Treasures" line of fabric, but appreciate others, like P&B, Andover and Moda.

If you're looking for a 'name' of an artist I enjoy Jane Sassaman. Alexander Henry also appeals to me.

Comment: Ida, I am overwhelmed! I've never encountered such a beautiful and generous package on a charm swap! Thank You so very much. Usually I add charms to my own color collections, but I have a scrappy heart block design I've been refining and they will be lovely in that. I don't generally do table toppers but there are enough hearts with what I have myself to make three nice scrappy blocks that will look great on my oak table. Thanks again, Diana

Scoutmom, I have received 5 inch fabric without a name. I also don't know if this is a late arrival from the April swap or an early one from May. Also impossible to rate this person. So sad, because she is worth a 5 plus a heart! Do you keep a record of who was assigned to whom? Meerkat
