08-20-08 Last night my sister's neighbor called and told me another neighbor found her out cold, and they had to call an ambulance. I'm at a total loss right now I just don't know what to do. She is home today but has not called me. So please understand if I'm not around to chat.

08-05-08 I am in a total haze. My dad whom I don't talk to called my cell yesterday. He wanted to know where I was. Mind you I am here at my sisters taking care of my niece. He has no clue what is going on here. He tells me my grandma is in the hospital and they don't think she has much time. Dr.'s are surprised she made it through the day. I get upset on the phone and he proceeds to yell at me to get control of myself. Which just infuririates me more. I want to be there to see her before she dies! But I can't leave my sister and her family either. I didn't know what to do till I thought on it with a clearer head last night. My grandma wouldn't want me to leave, she would want me to be here for my sister. So I am a mess right now. She was the only grandma I knew, she sent us cookies at xmas, cards and she and I have always been in touch. She and I were the closest out of my family. Closer than my father has ever been with her since we were kids. I don't know how my swaps are going to go so I'm bailing out of everything that hasn't been assigned partners yet. Please say a prayer for my grandma and my sister. Grandma isn't one for pain so I'm praying they medicate her good that she doesn't feel anything.

8-1-8 I had surgery and am doing well. I've been doing a great deal of cleaning outside and inside. After being sick for 1 1/2 years I can't stand looking at it anymore. I've already lost 8 lbs yeah! I'm very happy about that but I am also trying to deal with other family matters. My inlaws are coming this weekend to clear out mom's things because dad is bringing his lover here, yeah lover. It's a big drama now and mom just passed in April.
Than I found out last night that my sister has finally hit bottom and is in rehab. We have a history of horror as children and she has ended up in a real bad way. And on top of that I am not even supposed to know she's in rehab! A neighbor told me and I can not give her up so I have been frantically calling to find out where she is. So please for those of you who I know personally and are trying to reach me I'm not really up to chatting because I know it will end up down the conversation path I just don't want to have right now. I really hope you can understand. This should not interfer with my swaps that I am signed up for but if it doesn I will back out of them before they start or let my partner know.
8/3/8 I now know of my sister being in rehab, I am taking my girls to her home to care for my niece for about a week. We'll see if it ends up longer. If I don't rate right away this is why.

I'm a sahm of 3 girls. I'm 36 yrs. old. Have many health problems right now. Hopefully after summer they'll fix me.

I rate the way the rating system states. But if you're going to be late please let me know before hand, before the send by date. I'm a very understanding person but when someone lies I CAN'T stand it. It is very upsetting when I am made out to be the bad person when rating someone the proper way. I am looking out for all the other swappers here. I'll say it again if you do not want to be rated poorly than send your stuff on time, let me know before the send date that it's going to be late. Just because your partner doesn't notice it's late doesn't mean that I wont. Again I am a very nice person very giving person but please don't think that you can pull one over on me it won't happen. I play by the rules. If I'm late I have the decency to tell my partner. I'm a very considerate person. (haven't been late yet)

Dislikes-spandex, knits, satin, wool (I can not sew with them). Anything boyish (I have girls), neon, animal prints such as lepard, lion, tiger etc. Do not send stained, dirty, torn rusted or holed fabric. Old fabric is fine as long as it's not either of the above listing.

romantic things for all of the following, crochet, quilting, pin cushions, needle book (don't have one yet), mercered cotton thread, buttons, anything to do with sewing really, boyds bears, and swapping or collecting currency with other countries,color'd writing pens, markers (thin to write letters with), permanent markers (thin to write letters with),cute pens, been doing lots of penpaling.

I only have two allergys cats and some jewelry. I can not wear anything in my ears or on my neck unless it's silver or gold. Nickle and other metals make my ears swell and my throat itch really bad. Now if it's a beaded necklace or something and it's just the clasp that's not real that's ok. Usually it's what is on the font of my neck.

Please NO advertisement/free cards. I understand that if the swap does not specify than it's ok. The reason why is because of the quality and because I share them with my kids. We enjoy looking at the cards and looking the place up online. Especially during the summer months. I would love cards of your area, scenic, monuments, historic sites, mountains, woods, animals, countrysides, barns, bridges, cute, funny, furry, picture cards, and even homemade etc. Basically anything I can teach my girls about the area with. I give hearts if you add a website of the cards information so as to make it easier for the girls and I to look it up.
