I love crafts, plants, and cooking. I enjoy renewing old furniture and doing DIY things. We grow our own produce and enjoy doing so. I am learning how to can things! I also do a lot of sewing and wreath making. I have a slight obsession for unicorns, zombies, gnomes, Jack Skellington, and Alice in Wonderland. I am married with three children two elementary age boys and one little girl. We love having lots of family time along with pizza and a movie every Friday. We currently live by the ocean so we frequent the beach. I also have a Great Dane named Miah who is a certified therapy dog. Miah and I do a lot of volunteering around local hospitals etc visiting patients. Along with all of this I am a full-time student working towards my bachelor's in social work. I'm excited to be finished next year so I can move onto a Masters program. I enjoy coffee and wine not necessarily in that order and am not bias in the time of day that I drink either one(sometimes day drinking is necessary haha!). I'm not a tea drinker but I honestly wish I was. I was sent some cherry tea in a swap that I fell in love with recently! I have enjoyed some chia tea here an there though! I'm not sure what they did to it to make it good but...it was! You may see me in some tea swaps because my family all likes tea as do many of my friends who come to my home for coffee and game days. My Grandmother is a tea drinker and the highlight of her day is mail so I love sticking some of the teas I get from all over the world to send to her regularly. It really brightens her day. I do love me some hot cocoa and apple cider though! Ialso have a huge love for Dr Pepper and anything Dr Pepper related. I am learning how to play the guitar....although not very successfully. I also enjoy board games. I am weird and awkward with a dirty sense of humor and life is good!
Zombieland Fools Gold Harry Potter The Notebook The Goonies (but we only watch it if we have Yoohoo. It's tradition :) Nightmare Before Christmas Pride and Prejudice Tucker and Dale vs Evil Alice in Wonderland Hocus Pocus Anything with Zombies!! Game of Thrones Walking Dead Raising Hope Outlander Night Shift Criminal Minds Supernatural Fear of the Walking Dead The Good Doctor The Ranch Grimm Discovery
Sewing, wreaths, woodwoxrk. I honestly love everything. I really would like to learn how to crochet but have not tackled that one yet :) I have a Cricket machine but we don't get along very well so I have not been able to make any really cool stuff with it yet. She's hateful and does not like to listen to directions. Ha!
Many books....many many books....Right now I am wanting to read the Outlander series. I have been watching the show and I'm slightly obsessed. Unfortunately our library is still waiting on the three first books to be returned...someday I will...someday....;) I have gotten to read the first one. It was really good.
I am really not a fan of mystery novels. I love a great love story or young adult fiction. Some of my favorites have been the Shadowhunter series, Harry Potter, The Bronze Horseman, Mermaid ones that I can't remember the names of....again...lots of books....lots and lots of books. I'm not super picky.
Honestly I am a very laid back individual. I'm a huge nerd and like all things related to my favorite movies. My favorite colors are purple and green. I love all kinds of music and I hold a special place in my heart for different cultures and learning about them. Especially their food and recipes...I love to try different types of cooking.
Here are a few ideas: Bias tape!!! I use a lot of it and always welcome some new (preferably double folded bias tape), fabric, paper music, maps, Buttons (I love buttons and use them a lot!) Recipes, pottery, plant accessories, lawn gnomes, tiny gnome garden things, fairy doors, zombies, anything with Unicorns, Zombies!!!, hair accessories, fun socks, fun/funny coffee mugs, notepads, zombies, funny things, movie quotes, sewing accessories, games, pens, packaged chocolate/candy, zombies, cooking seasonings, Nightmare Before Christmas items, Alice in Wonderland items, zombies, interesting postage stamps, stationary, envelopes, cool pens, Harry Potter items, Supernatural (the TV show) items, honestly the weirder the better :) zombies, Holiday items are always welcome. I love holidays! I am also learning how to can! If you have any tips or recipes for things like jams, jelly's, applesauce, veggies, etc I would absolutely love them! My kids and I also do painted rocks and hide/find them so any paints, brushes, etc would be handy. Oh...and zombies.
I also would not mind bible verses or Christian reading material. Bonus for me if you give me one of your favorite Bible verses and what it means to you and why.
Be kind and please rewind.
