I'm 58, married 39 years, mom to a son and a daughter and son-in-law and grandmother to a sweet little girl who is 3 and a newborn boy in heaven. I love to crochet and garden. I love my cat, the USA, writing poetry, Bible study, teddy bears, pretty bookmarks, angels, butterflies, pretty pens, baking cookies, writing letters, crosses, bald eagles, cold nights, the American flag, strong coffee, Amish stuff, naps, soup, freebies, teas, ladybugs, and dark chocolate.

Things I don't like: most dogs, orange chocolate, cheap chocolate, people who join swaps and don't send, snakes, USA bashers, witchcraft, Harry Potter, new-age stuff.

I don't watch a lot of t.v., but now and then something on the Travel Channel, History Channel, or CMT. And when my granddaughter is here, Tom & Jerry. :)

Crochet, both yarn and thread. I love to make prayer shawls and prayer cloths, pretty things for my granddaughter, delicate little thread snowflakes and bookmarks and intricate doilies. ATCs. Postcards. Iris paper folding.

If you have old greeting cards, either used or unused that you would throw out otherwise, I can use them to make small awards to be sent to kids in African orphanages and mission schools.
