I AM BACK as of December 23rd 2011!!! However I'm changing a few things as I am now teaching full time. Also some of my wants and likes have changed...sorry to have been away so long, I had neither time or money to swap but now I can again YAY!

Hi! I'm Hannah, I'm a VERY creative person and I LOVE receiving letters and cards and surprises in the post! I am a designer and I am currently teaching full-time. I am a Design technology Teacher in the UK (Wales specifically!) I have two different Creative personalities and I flip from one to the other at certain times of the year... During Spring/Summer I am very much a Kawaii, Sweet lolita, Japan, anime, Cath Kidston, bright colour, pop music loving person.

Then during Autumn/Winter I become a brown, green, forest, robin hood, fairy, welsh legend, fairytale, red riding hood, antique, old stuff, keys, castles, outdoorsy kind of person. Although neither personality is restricted to the time of year...I just have phases of interest....currently I am VERY much on the Fairytale train, having just gotten engaged to my partner of 4 years. Frog Prince, Rapunzel, Beauty and the beast, Red Riding hood are all inspiring me right now...especially the new films Tangled and Red Riding Hood and Beastly...

I would be looking to take part in swaps that involve any of the themes listed above as well as Design and Technology Teaching related ones ( to give me ideas or resources to use with the classes I teach) I teach Woodwork, Metalwork, Graphics, Textiles and Product Design. I have also joined a medieval re-enactment group and a Weavers, spinners and dyers guild so have lots of fun crafts to share with you.

May I just state now that I will swap kickass-peanut items but I will not be providing tutorials or anything like that as I have stated quite firmly on all my sites that my methods are my own and not for public sharing, thanks.

I'm not looking for really expensive swaps, and am not in any way fussy about second-hand items as long as they are clean and in a fit state. I LOVE car-boot sales, yard sales and charity/thrift stores!!!

I will swap worldwide and am keen to make contacts and friends all over the world with letters, small matchboxes, envelopes, and packages. I will consider larger swaps once I have gotten to know your swap quality and personality.

I may also be interested in doing some 'class swaps' teacher to teacher with letters and handmade items from my classes to yours and vice versa, kids don't write enough letters nowadays and they certainly don't do as much crafting as they should!!!

Anime/Manga I like is usually the shoujo kind or fairly kawaii like cardcaptors, toradora, clannad, Ouran HSHC, Blood+, Jing, Tsubasa chronicles, CLAMP stuff is a favourite!

Tv series' I'm hooked on right now= Supernatural, House, Primeval, Dr who, Heroes, Vampire Diaries, Waterloo Road, Glee...

I love working with wool, fleece and felt. I love using the laser-cutter and wood and acrylic at school. I love Sculpey and FIMO. I also love scrapbooking and collage. I have also been making some very special 'Rhythm beads' for my horses recently so beading could be listed as a favourite I suppose.....

• New obsession = Koolaid dyeing and Natural plant dyeing so if any of you from the USA out there can get hold of SUGARFREE KOOLAID sachets I would love to do a swap!!!*

• I especially love little playsets with tiny figurines in, handmade or bought- Like the old 'Poly in my Pockets' but with cooler characters like anime or san-x (I have these AWESOME Moomin ones that are so cute!)

• I actually MAKE a lot of my own kawaii from charms and plushies to stationery and stickers, If you DON'T want any handmade stuff only the shop bought Japanese Sanrio/San-x/Crux/Qlia etc PLEASE TELL ME as I try and make the swaps as best as I know how and that usually involves me making things. • Any teaching books or books on electronics/systems and control as I have to do this for University.

To be honest, what I'm looking for is effort and thought with a personal touch, with maybe one or two found objects and maybe a little official merchandise. I enjoy getting things that I can't buy in the UK.
