God helps us to store truth and love in our hearts, sometimes our mind is not on the same page as our heart though...especially when the enemy is whispering lies. That's when we have to guard our hearts and remember the truth.

I've dropped by as part of the Read Profile-Write Comment swap. It's nice to "meet" you! I do apologize for being late; I've been in bed with bronchitis and I swore it was the twelfth all day yesterday.
I see that we have purples in common. I'm a fan of all colors but I go in little streaks where a particular color reigns...for a while it seemed my whole world was greens, but this year my dorm room is purple and I can't get enough. :)
That Dave Barry quote is great; he always seems to see the world just a little bit differently than the average Joe, to hilarious effect. The only bad thing is, I can't drink coffee while I read him, too much danger of spit-takes!
I like the image of you cuddled up with your granddaughter watching movies. I don't have any grand kids yet, but my daughter is all grown up, so it could happen any time. I hope she waits until I'm done with college at least; classes would be impossible to concentrate on when I could be cuddling a little one!
