I am married, no kids-except for the kind with fur! I currently live just outside Sacramento, CA, but I'm originally from San Francisco and lived there for most of my life. I was born in Hawaii and have a love of Hawaiian culture and food. I have enjoyed and danced hula from a young age and even danced for my husband at our wedding. Since we moved to Sacramento, I haven't really had time to find the right group/teacher to start dancing again. I miss it alot though. It keeps you in shape too!

I got married when I was 18 and he was 21......we have been married for 11 years now! My husband is from Nicaragua and we just recently went back to where he grew up. Although I don't speak spanish fluently, I really enjoyed the experience and want to go back again!

I have 2 dogs-Indiana, (my profile picture is of my beloved boy, Indiana!) a male 100+ lbs Akita/Black Lab mix, which most people are afraid of but shouldn't be. They should really be looking out for my female 23 lbs Basenji(a naturally barkless dog from the Congo in Africa)- Tava (short for Taveri-which in Tahitian means "stubborn", and believe me, she is!). They are both spoiled rotten and an important part of my life. I love dogs! I have always enjoyed being around animals and believe that they are capable of the purest expression of love there is. I am allergic to cats and rabbit's.

I am an outdoors person and love hiking, swiming, biking, camping, boating, taking my dogs for walks, and my husband and I just got a canoe!

I also can be a girly girl and love lotions, scrubs, sprays, creams, etc. I tend to like fruity or "clean" smelling scents and dislike the stronger lavender, rose, or sandalwood scents.

I love swapping and have been at it for several years now....I originally started from penpaling and it just grew from there. I was an active member of nervousness.org but after the site went down for a while, I got side tracked and took a break.

Now I'm back and in full swing, I can't wait to send and recieve great things! I regularly swap FB's, Deco's, Slams, Stickers, sticker/goody bags, stationary and Candy. I am always esp. looking for weird or unusual type candies or chocolates. I love trying new things and candy-what better than to mix the two? I will eat/try anything once!

My dreams are to start my own successful business and own acres of land! I am currently in the process of starting the business but things are slow going and money is tight. I pray I don't lose my enthusiasm! If I could do things over again I would go to school to be a vet and try to be a kinder more patient person from the beginning.

LUV'S:Dogs, animals, ethnic foods, chocolates and candy, thrift stores, volunteerism, confetti, flower arranging, pressed flowers, ribbon/lace, stickers-scratch n' sniff and hello kitty especially, jelly pens, scented candles, stationary, stamps, ink pads, wrapping paper and bows, scissors with different edges, fancy or handmade envelopes, paper punches and embossers.

No's: postcards that aren't mailed, white chocolate, beads, makeup, pencils or erasers, used or worn items, people that don't follow through on their swaps!

Pressed flowers, Flower arranging, scrapbooking, I'm learning to sew quilts, but still a newbie.

I love Deco's-but I don't know if that's really considered a craft. My husband calls it "playing with my little papers". ha, ha
