I'm a 24 year old culinary student. I live with my boyfriend, Pete (also a professional cook) and my betta fish, Elvis in a gorgeous old apartment in downtown Charlottetown. I graduate in May '07 and then it's off to conquer the world, culinary style!

I love history, especially culinary and social history -- I'm not really interested in battles, I'd rather hear about every day life. I also enjoy the history of fashion, costume, and textiles.

I'm a fairly tactile person, texture appeals to me. I'm usually drawn to colours on the cool side of the spectrum, although I do like red.

I like dramatic, classic clothes. My wardrobe has a lot black, white, grey, and vibrant jewel tones in it.

I LOVE books.

Reference books are one of my greatest pleasures. The more detail I can learn about a subject, the happier I am. I also love cookbooks and anything to do with food and cooking.

I don't like liquorice.
