~Well i'm me. 23, based in the Midlands, UK, and freshly graduated from university. I'm now a freelance knitwear designer/I.T systems engineer. How different can you get? But one lets me feed my creative desires and the other enables me to actually live.

~I don't drink anymore. sometime last year I discovered that I could drink a stupid amount of vodka and not be drunk. Which is boring and very very expensive. so I tried Absinthe, but that stuff is just plain nasty...So I gave up and now I can remember everything my friends do when they're drunk.

~I'm randomly addicted to american t.v shows that keep getting cancelled (there could be a reason, such as normal people think they're rubbish, but hey). My so-called life was amazing and now I own the boxset, I can satisfy my cravings for old school Jared Leto.

~I sometimes say the wrong thing, but I always mean it in the best possible way. Its just I haven't learnt to think before I speak, or I do and it just comes out completely wrong.

~I can quote the entire script of Empire Records, but I couldn't tell you what my mobile number is.

~My friends will tell you that I have the most bizarre taste in music. I prefer to think of it as eclectic. Who says that I can't listen to Dolly Parton, Incubus, Britney Spears, Robbie Williams, Mozart and Greenday all within the space of 10 minutes?

~I love musicals. I can't help it. I love being able to escape into that surreal world. It makes reality easier to handle.

~I am addicted to all things Hello Kitty - so much so that my studio is referred to as 'The HK Shrine' by my family.

I also love collecting postcards from around the world. They give me inspiration for when I can finally afford my round-the-world trip.

I dislike tea, but love hot chocolate-type drinks.

I also make jewellery, which helps me use up my bead collection, but I am always on the look out for unusual and pretty beads/clasps/findings/etc.

I am definitely not a quilting person, so if I am ever your swap partner, please no quilting things.

Stationary, especially anything kawaii/kitsch/japanese/sanrio (esp. hello kitty)/cute etc. Pretty papers, stickers, cards, ribbons, postcards of anything arty/funky/cute, pretty envelopes, tags, anything with quotes on, anything knitting related, some scrapbook things (but not loads), polka dots, 50s pin-ups (think Bettie Page), Marilyn Monroe, make-up, unique jewellery, mix-cds (especially with music that i've haven't heard of), American Fashion mags.

I love all things crafty, but my heart will always belong to knitting. I love working with natural fibres, merino wool being my all time fave along with cashmere (when I can afford it!). I absolutely detest fun fur and 100% acrylic yarns...yuck! I use kool aid to dye yarns, which is quite hard to get over here, so I'd love some fab colours.
