Myracuulous

I’m a 20-ish university student currently living in Ottawa, Canada. My Humanities major is giving me a chance to study everything from religion and philosophy to history and political science and everything in between, and I usually enjoy school (except during essay crunches and exams!) I’m very new to swapping, having only done a handful on other sites, but so far it’s been a lot of fun.

My two cats live four hours' drive away with my parents, and I miss them terribly. Here in Ottawa I have a dark blue Betta fish called Midnight, and might be getting a few tetras too. In what spare time I have, I enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels, drawing, and a wide variety of crafting projects.

Uses - Things I find particularly useful.
- Earrings and broaches (I don’t wear much other jewelery)
- Artisan soap
- Mechanical pencils and other sketching materials.
- Punk pins/buttons/badges/whatever you like to call them
- Beading/jewelery supplies
- Fabric, especially funky cotton prints in small quantities- scraps are great!
- Crazy, weird hats.
- Coffee and tea of all sorts
- Bento box supplies or western reusable lunch packing supplies.
- Nice yarn
- Snacks and candy are always useful!

Not that I’ve got anything against them, but there are some things that just wouldn’t be of use to me if I were to be sent them.
- Religious stuff- I do not identify with any faith, please don’t send me religious items.
- Country/cottage-y - cute to look at, but wouldn’t match my décor.
- Stickers and premade scrapbooking stuff - I don't scrapbook, and my ATCs consist mostly of hand-drawn elements.
- Strongly perfumed items that aren’t soap/candles/incense- my boyfriend has some perfume allergies, and he comes over a lot.

Fine art (usually with pencil, pens, watercolours, pencil crayons or digital media), beading, sewing (plushies of my own design, hats, cosplay and some clothing), prop design for cosplay purposes, ATCs. I've recently taken up bento box-ing too, though my creations are more practical than artistic thus far. And I think I'm starting to knit again.
