About Me
Hi!! My name's Silke, I'm a 26-year-old female from Southern Germany.
I have a degree in pharmatechnics and work 1 day a week at a pharmacy. 2 hours per week I work at a primary school and 1 day per month I work volunteering at a library. So I have many interests :D.
But my main job is being a mommy. I have a wonderful little boy called Julian whom I gave birth on October 11th 2008.
I'm engaged to a great man and we will marry in May 2010.
I enjoy penpalling (have been penpalling since 1990), postcards, reading, crafts, toyvoyager, cooking and baking and of course spending time with my family.

Postcards
♥ I LOVE POSTCARDS!! ♥
I really love swapping postcards and am also postcrossing. I also enjoy private swaps.
Please no hand made cards. I know there are very beautiful handmade cards , but for postcards: PLEASE ONLY SHOP-BOUGHT ONES!
Postcards themes I mainly enjoy are:
with maps on (doesn't matter weather they are printed or drawn)
with landscape and city views (single or multi)
Unesco sights
monuments, churches, sights
mountains, seaside, beaches
lighthouses
Please don NOT send me cards with: animals ( only new and unused), plants, gardens or free ad cards. I'm neither fan of humorous or funny comic cards. Please keep them for so who collects them. Thanks :o)
When you send me a swap
Please always mention the name of the swap. I recently got many swaps (esp. postcards) without a swapping name. It's always tough to find out which swap it is and from which person the swap is what makes the rating very difficult... So please always mention it!
My swap to you hasn't arrived?
Please contact me. I always send my swaps in time (so far, if there will be any time problems in the future, I'll let my partners know). It happens from time to time that a letter get lost. Please let me know before rating so I can make a 2nd try. Thanks ♥♥♥

You like Kawaii too?! I absolutely adore kawaii and I have just started collecting. I mostly love stickers and deco tapes. Postcards a quite nice, but I don't have many yet. One day I'd like to have a postcard from every country in the world :)

I want to work at a library really bad. But my library never seems to be hiring or they never need volunteers. I also like postcards with maps because I find maps really interesting.
