I am a 38 year old second grade teacher who loves her job. I have been a teacher for 9 years. I have fun everyday and learn something new from my kids daily. I love to scrapbook and sew. I have been scrapbooking for about 12 years and sewing for about 4. I am raising my two nephews. I believe everyday is a present and meant to be lived without regrets.

My taste in music is really diverse. I like all types as long as it is not too heavy. I have to know where my students are coming from, so I listen to music they like. This can be anything from radio disney, rap, to Christian.

My favorite kind of books are romance novels. My favorite romance author is Linda Howard. I also like romance mysteries. I recently read all of the Twilight books and loved them. I read all of the time and pretty much anything I can get my hands on.

I am a sucker for a chick flick. I will go and see one by myself. Some of my favorite movies are Notting Hill, Anne of Green Gables, The Holiday and the Notebook. There are many more!

I don't get to watch television much. When I do I tend to watch what the kids are watching. We watch Disney Channel a lot. I also like Meerkat Manor, Little People, Big World, John and Kate Plus Eight and Grey's Anatomy.

As stated above, I love to scrapbook and sew. Scrapbooking is something fun I can do and get away with friends. Sewing and creating clothes for my niece is a way to relax at home. I love doing all kinds of cute crafty stuff. Being a teacher means I have to come up with crafts at a moments notice sometimes.
