8/12/09 : I want to apologize to everyone for disappearing. There is no excuse for what I have done. When I got behind, I became so embarassed and did not know what to do. I promise to get caught up and hope I can earn back some of the trust I have lost ....

I have made a vow to live life to the fullest and experience all I can. I am a 42 year old single mom of two grown children (my youngest is a freshman in college). I work in the financial services industry (for now). I live in Western New York near Niagara Falls. I am always looking for an adventure and that gets me into some very interesting places lately ...

I love country music but listen to a wide variety of kinds. Listen to everything from Elton John to Linkin Park. Always willing to check out something new ...

James Patterson, either Kellerman, Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum) ... mystery suspense crime type stuff. I take the train to work everyday so never have enough to read.

I have to tell you ... I LOVE food. I am always looking to try something new BUT .. about a year ago I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease which means I am Gluten Intolerant. Gluten is wheat, oats, barley, and rye (and things made from these grains). This does not stop me from looking for new recipes that I can adapt to make safe and if I do come across something that I find is not Gluten Free ... I share with my friends and family.

Now that I have been swapping for a while ... I have discovered I like:

Thank you for looking at my profile for this. I have a recipe box that can accomodate up to 4x6 recipe cards so would prefer cards over sheets. I do have binder that I keep too so do not transfer to a card if it is not good for you. I also ask that you indicate on the recipe your SwapBot name so I know who I can ask questions of when I try it.

Please do not be afraid to send recipes that you do not consider Gluten Free as I am working on learning to adapt recipes to make them usable for me!!
