Hello, my name is Patrizia. Most people call me Patty. I live in Phx, AZ. I am originally from NYC. I moved to AZ in 1997. I've been a crafter since I was 9 years old. It started when my mother purchased a set of watercolor pencils and crayons, and the rest is history. I have many hobbies, but my favorite hobby is beading. I've been beading since 1988, way before it became the crazy craze that it is today. My background is in Psychology, but I often wonder where I'd be if I had followed my gut and studied at Parson's School of Design. hmmm...Project Runway maybe? ~DrEaMINig~ .... ...but still, I have a place for all that dreaming - and it's a quiet place where colors come to life and nothing else matters, but what you see inside your head, that little paint brush and a crispy white stretched canvas in front of you..."in total bliss, I am" ..you know what I mean. I enjoy exploring and expanding my love for crafts and sharing my passion with others. Networking is a wonderful thing; Through my group at Meetup.com, I've learned about Swap-bot...and so there - here I am. "Hi" By the way, my Etsy store will not have any items for sale until August of this year. I have much work to do...

Alternative, electronica, some classical, indie, down tempo, salsa, some jazz and R&B. I enjoy most music, (too many to list), except for Heavy metal and hard Rap. I have a huge collection of music on my PC from all over the world : ) me like musica!

Currently reading "the power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. Fantastic! a must read..

...and then there are those books that I like to alter : ) and some that I collect for the beauty of its cover; like my grandmother's very old huge bible with gold leaf layering on it's colorful cover. It's soooo very pretty.

I've recently graduated to audio books - it has definitely increased my multi-tasking abilities.

Beading, paper crafts, painting (since I was 8 y/o), decoupaging, papier mache, some sewing projects. I've dabble with glass fusing, and other glass material as well. I also enjoy collecting photography from the 1920's and 40's; especially women. I love all kinds of paper; homemade, decorative, all kinds - I collect. I just learned collaging with beeswax and I absolutely love it. I've done five projects so far. I also love to write poetry, short stories, and re-create photography via Photoshop and other software.

Discovery, History, HGTV, DIY, Bravo, I love Project Runway, American Idol, Law and Order, the closer, Grey's Anatomy, Ok, I'm telling on myself too much - I watch too much TV, but I'm a multi-tasker, I watch while I'm creating something beautiful; or sometimes listening to an audio book while I'm beading...

I love staring into the sutleties of nature, and it's ever changing phases. I enjoy photography. I adore shopping and long walks. I also enjoy creating my own scents with essential oils and other secret ingredients. I enjoy exploring Arizona; Antiquing, road trips to nowhere and anywhere; exploring yet another lonely undiscovered place with a forgotten past where nature still nutures its path...
I also enjoy collecting quotes that I discover in my journey of life...each time learning more about myself. I also love to cook, but I don't admit that to most people. Can you guess why?

Butterflies, Organic Teas, Strong Coffee, Cool vintage or Retro food labels, Cool vintage or Retro statinary & journals, I love the sunsets Books with vintage photography, antique-victorian furniture, frames & stuff... Stickers; hearts - stars, but no cartoon characters. I'm obsessed with crayons. I enjoy Craft Magazines-beading or paper crafts, Glass Vintage Beads - all sizes, Old maps, sheets of music notes, scented votive candles, hand made items, Antique Jewelry, Cool Frames, Butterflies, Shabby Chic stuff, Mini Canvas, Essential Oils - especially Patchuli, and frankensence (sp?), I collect small rocks and sand from every place I've visited, exotic handmade fabrics and fibers, sharing what makes me smile, hearing about what makes you smile.

Hard Rap, heavy metal, Sarcasm, Soda, 70's neon colors - I threw my black, light away a long time ago, puffy neon paint - ugh! hip huggers - been there done that,and the wide hips just keep pushing them down anyway. I stay away from negative and grumpy, critical people, I .

I am very generous, loyal and patient. I know how to humble myself, I choose my battles, I am incredibly intuitive, All who know me know that I am dependable, caring, and a true friend forever.
