About Me

I'm a co-parent to a gorgeous 17 yr old girl. She keeps us very busy. We run a B&B. I'm 46 and have been a quadriplegic since a car accident at age 16. I'm going to try to explain this a little better because I get the feeling (strongly) that some swappers either don't read this but about me or don't understand it at all. Right now I'm typing this with my thumb knuckle. I can't move or use my fingers. Much of what I do involves using my teeth (especially when I sew or bead)'. I'm not writing any of this to gain sympathy points. I am asking that you accept my limitations the way I do. Plain and simple-- there are some things I can't do. I've scrapbooked for 10 years now and only discovered ATCs last year. I love them! I love anything involving paper and pens. I'm more artsy than I am crafty... I do not like getting stickers used as "art." It just isn't my taste. But If you kind find a way to incorporate them artistically, go for it!

Favorite Music

I enjoy lots of different kinds of music, depending on what I am doing. Classical, rock, you name it. My current fav is k.d. lang, hymns of the 49th parellel (sp?!!!).

Favorite Books

I love Jodi Piccoult, especially The Pact.

Favorite Movies

I don't have one. I'm very fussy and find it difficult to find a movie I love. I recently saw The Golden Compass and loved it. I also loved the book.

Favorite Television

Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy, Heartland

Favorite Crafts

Scrapbooking, felting (really digging this), cooking, making handmade cards, photography.

About Me

I have asthma and am VERY sensitive to scent so please leave it out of anything you send. I really appreciate that.

Comment: Thanks for all the fantastic recipes! Don't worry about the internet problems. I live in Central Texas, we get pretty terrible thunderstorms - the kinds with hail and tropical storm winds that push trees over onto your house and car. I know how it can be!
