About Me

I'm a wife to an amazing man and mother of 5 great kids and we all love the Lord! I work from home in the marriage ministry that my husband and I have been involved in for about two years. I'm a definite foodie and am totally into great cookbooks with pictures (always like to see an actual pic of what I'm making)! I love crafting and have a goal this year that each person I give a Christmas gift to will get at least one handmade gift from me.

Favorite Music

I really don't have one favorite type of music though I mostly seem to listen to contemporary Christian music and some of my favorite artists are Nicole Nordeman, MercyMe, Chris Tomlin and Casting Crowns.

I also really LOVE James Taylor and Prince (I know...polar opposites!). I also enjoy music from the 40's (think Tommy Dorsey and Frank Sinatra), 70's (think the Eagles & Carly Simon) and the 80's (think Wham!, U2, Madonna - I grew up in the 80's so there's too many to list here).

And I can't forget salsa and classical and well, you get the picture.

Favorite Books

I don't often get to sit down and actually read a book too often though I will say that I really love everything I've ever read by Elizabeth Berg.

Also LOVED the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and the Vampire Lestat series by Ann Rice.

Cookbooks are always wonderful and I just pour over them, even if I don't make anything from them there are just so many that are just gorgeous to look at you know?

Favorite Television

LA Ink The Dog Whisperer Little People Big World Shows that come on TBN old cartoons Scrubs anything having to do with ancient times and history

Response: Hi Vicki, I'm really glad that you're happy with your package. I agonized over that can...just couldn't figure out how to get shells on it which is what I really wanted to do since you like the beach so much. Obviously, it's not very "beachy" but tried to get some beach-related words into the little poems. Anywho, I hope you can use it along with the coffee and fish :-)

The Mickey stickers are so cute and the yarn is FABULOUS!!! I am going camping this weekend with my husband and I'm taking it with me so I can knit a beautiful scarf...oh WOW red is SO pretty.
