I'm currently living in the Twin Cities metro area but am originally from the East Coast. I have lived in the Metro DC area for the majority of my life. But have also lived in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
I am addicted to postcrossing and found this site when I was searching for other postcard swaps. Eager to get started. I like all sorts of postcards but I like vertical ones. As well as Kaj cards or Moomin cards from Finland.
I read a lot. I'm currently reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. (Vampires) I like mysteries like those written by Sue Grafton, the Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell, and Daniel Silva. I also enjoy books by Laura Childs, I read them as soon as they come out. I also like Diane Mott Davidson's culinary mysteries as well. I have also read a few knitting mysteries and have enjoyed them too.
I enjoy most types of movies except for horror. I like comedies and dramas and the latest pixar movie. I really enjoyed WallE and Ratatouille. But I've also liked the Bourne Series as well as Indiana Jones.
Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Gossip Girl, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Chuck, House, America's Next Top Model, No Reservation; Anthony Bourdain, Color Splash, Divine Design, and Barefoot Contessa to name a few shows.
I'm like the Doors, Eagles, Beatles, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Yaz, Billy Joel, Chicago, Talking Heads, REM, Live, Madonna and ABBA.
I like classical and can tolerate most genres but i don't like twangy country. But some people like Carrie Underwood I like.
I like Moomin, Kaj cards as well as Wallace & Gromit. I like some handmade cards but don't have that ability to give them in return. I don't like free ad cards. I like architecture and art as well as cartoon characters.
I am starting to collect state/country map cards. I have all the states from the the US. Would love to get some international map cards :)
I like english breakfast tea, Love taking afternoon tea and have taken my nieces to it once. I also like Oonlong or Formosa teas. I also love chai tea. I wish the trader joes near me still sold their chocolate chai.
I also like to bake and decorate cakes. I generally make 10 to 12 kinds of cookies at Christmas time.
I love peanut butter so any candy with that is great. I also like skittles but not super sour kinds. I also like starburst. I only like milk chocolate. I like peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts w/ chocolate. As well as chocolate mixed with caramel and/or peanut butter. No coconut please :) and no dark chocolate. Thanks!

Hi :) Hope you are enjoying whats left of the weekend. I too love postcards, I just got a boxset of the suicide bunny postcards they are too funny. One of my favorite things ever are trading postcards especially homemade and "weird" ones. I have a few penpals that I write and we try and send the most crazy postcards we can make to each other, so much fun , never know maybe we'll fine each other as partners in a postcard swap :) P.S The movie WallE Rocked!!! one of the best out there I think. Have a sweet one, Freckleface.
Leave Me A Comment Swap :-) Hello Jennifer, It looks like we have alot in common, I love alot of the same TV shows and music as you and I live in Northern Virginia right now. We live about 25 minutes or so outside of DC. My husband is in the AF and we just moved here. Here is a link to a cute You Tube Wallace and Gromit video. There is whole series on You Tube for Cracking Contraptions by Wallace and Gromit. They are too cute! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cxAuU5nReU&feature=SeriesPlayList&p=70BE847613D4B3B6
