Please message me prior to rating if you have not received my swap in a reasonable amount of time. If I have marked sent; it means the postal system got it on that day. If you choose to not rate swaps, please, as a courtesy, message me that my swap has been received. Thanks!
•Wife, mother of 2 fabulous grown daughters, and a grand to 2 sweet boys.
•Teacher, college proposal writer and a crafter for as long as I can remember.
•Avid volunteer for Red Cross Disaster Services with several completed deployments.
•Master Gardener (...I'm a Taurus, love dirt)
•Postcrosser (how I love receiving cards from around the world...handmades always welcome as well as map cards, recipe cards, architecture, state caps, scenic, national flags and dress, fun, etc.!)
•Traveler (I've been to 17 countries)
•Vermicomposter
• Traditionalist, my kids say old fashioned, but what do they know!!
Likes: Woodworking (I love my scrollsaw!), collage, decoupage, sewing, x stitch, embroidery, decorative painting, screen art, papier mache, nature crafts. And love that "how'd they do that" feeling I get from something new to me.
Colors: Love all shades of green, blue, and brown.
Don't need: Any more items crocheted or knitted! (those in my family have kept me very well supplied for all seasons & holidays). LOL!
Classic Rock from the 60's and 70's! And I'm something of a blues and jazz fan, too.
Sleepless in Seattle, Steel Magnolias and the classic Gone with the Wind are some favorites.
Historical novels, US and European, How-to Manuals for veggie gardening, landscaping, furniture construction, upholstery, even car repair! Any craft book or magazine I can find!
Not so much! But I do enjoy watching Amazing Race, CSI, and Good Eats. I also enjoy some things on Discovery, Nat Geo, and the History channels. But, I'd rather read or craft!
Please no food or beverage! I am very strict on myself nutritionally, but there was a time that I'd walk 50 miles for a 3 Musketeers bar!!
Bits & Pieces: Sewing notions, thread, glass beads, ribbons of silk, velvet, satin or grosgrain, floss, large tassels, nature inspired note cards, map, city, scenic, art, funny or handmade postcards, yellowed vintage pages, great architecture even! I'm easy to please...
Anything political, Goth, Wiccan or otherwise religious oriented. Not so crazy about cartoon type characters, funny or childlike stickers.
To follow through on every swap I enter and to communicate with my partners and the swap coordinator should life matters interfere. Further, I will rate promptly and fairly and be as liberal in my ratings as the swap item merits. What I want to receive is a quality item to which you have obviously given time, thought, and effort. I will never expect to receive "extras" and may never send any to you, Extras will never be reflected in my rating of your item. So, please just put your creative energy into the swap item itself! Thank you for reading my profile!
