I am a 30-something woman living in Reno, NV with my husband, our 4 year old daughter Annabel Lee, and our 12yo black cat Atilla the Hun. I grew up in & around Detroit, MI and I have a trucker mouth. I love sewing & crafts, thrifting, animals, being outdoors, gardening, reading, writing, spending time with my family, entertaining, walking, meditating and doing volunteer work with homeless.

Music: ska, reggae, motown, swing, blues, big band, classic rock - anything with a good horn section, music that makes you get up and dance!
Books: buddhist philosophy (lama surya das, jack kornfield, dalai lama) comparative religion (joseph campbell rocks!) mythology, biographies (like isak dinesen & classic film stars especially!) poetry collections, art books (frida, diego, georgia o'keefe, flemish portraiture) cultural anthro (the history of everyday life!) historical fiction, classic sci-fi/fantasy (like asimov, heinlein, herbert, niven, leguin, card, etc...)
Vintage Goodness: 30s/40s/50s, fabric, patterns (sewing/crochet/embroidery), sewing notions & accessories, old issues of workbasket magazine, doilies, children's books, enamelware, milk glass, primary pyrex, pyrex in the 'friendship' pattern, vintage linens/pillowcases, buttons, cookie cutters and misc vintage kitchen items, frames, western tourist travel folios, swanky swigs.
Food: dark chocolate, gluten-free goodies, chai tea, good coffee beans
Spiritual: kwan-yin, buddha, dalai lama
Bath/Body: handmade soaps, lip gloss, anything made with shea butter, anything from the body shop
Scents: freesia, lilac, patchouli, strawberry, vanilla, lavender, neroli jasmine
Colors: earth tones, browns, greens, red, sky blue, purple, orange
Stationary: stickers, notepads, notecards, letter sets, postcards, labels
Jewelry: natural stones, giant rock pendants, vintage brooches, pierced and 2g earrings/plugs, and my daughter loves to play dress-up with old clip-ons!
Misc: strawberries, butterflies, sun-catchers, stained glass, astronomy, rock collecting, amber, trouser/knee high socks, tourist magnets, garden gnomes, roses, classic movies, silent films, miss piggy, coins from other countries
I'm not so much into angels or anything biblical, but general inspiration is good :)
I have Celiac's Disease, so please do not send any food or candy unless it specifically states that it is gluten-free

I love the name Annabel Lee and considered it for our daughter but the hubby was dead set on Rebel - which we eventually named her, LOL. There was no giving in on his part. :)
