i am married with 2 children (and 6 cats), i studied fine art (painting and printmaking) and i try to make time to be creative. i like ephemera but also really like modern design. i love hand made things, well-designed things. i love paper and wrapping paper, all craft supplies. i'm vegetarian (if you're sending food items make sure there is no gelatine included please) and please nothing with leather.

things i like: magazines - esp. non-u.s. ones, paper, birds, wool felt, good quality stickers, fabric, craft supplies, ribbons, notebooks, kinder eggs, licorice, gnomes.

lilly allen, ben folds, elvis costello, the pogues, beautiful south. lots of stuff, mostly listen to my daughter sing all day lately!

we have alot of dvds that we never have time to watch. i really like 'gregory's girl' and i must watch 'the bishop's wife' every christmas! mostly watch kid's stuff like 'shrek' and 'monsters inc.' (both really good)! amelie of course!

project runway, the amazing race, the office (both versions), shows about organization (to help me improve!) - really any how-to type of show i could sit and watch.

i am constantly changing my favorite - anything with wool felt, knitting, sewing, mosaics, painting, drawing. many, many unfinished projects sit around my studio. i strive to be organized in my studio so that i can be more creative and not constantly trying to jump over clutter.

i like travel writing, non-fiction, how-to books, any books! and i love magazines - i know they are not books but i do read them!

I like light and medium greens (not dark), yellow-greens, pumpkin orange, brown, black, silver, ochre, saturated colors. i don't like pastel colors together but if you pair light blue with brown then it's nice!
