I don't mind sending overseas, as most of you do live overseas, that is how it is. My hobbies are sewing, cooking, crochet, gardening and collecting (hoarding) fun and beautifull things.

I am always willing to do a private swap.

Ik vind het niet erg om naar het buitenland te versturen, dit is tenslotte een amerikaanse site. Mijn hobbies zijn naaien, koken, tuinieren, sinds kort haken en het verzamelen van mooie en leuke (hebbe)dingen.

I am 37 years old and live in the Netherlands I am happily married with DH since 2007 and together we have a boy, born on july 25th 2008, named Cas, we also just had a baby girl, born april 5 2011, named Noor.

I sew and quilt. I can't knit or embroider I am learning to crochet so cotton thread and easy amigurumi and crochet patterns are welcome. I like making cards/gifttags, so can always use rubber stamps . Please no paper, stickers or paperproducts, i have enough for a lifetime!

Ik naai en quilt, ik kan niet breien, borduren of haken, haken ben ik aan het leren dus makkelijke patroontjes, katoenen garen zijn van harte welkom. Ik vind het leuk om kaartjes en labels te maken, dus kan ik altijd stempels gebruiken. A.u.b. geen papier. stickers of scrap-spulletjes, ik heb zelf meer dan genoeg hiervan!

I love fabrics: a fat quarter always makes me happy. I love 100% cotton fabrics, no flimsy thin ones, especially fabrics with large (geometrical) design, japanese kawaii, retro and 30's reproduction fabrics, but any fabric you think is cute is fine. I like polkadots in red with white, cupcakes, woodland, matryoshka and geisha/kokeshi dolls.

Ik hou van stof, een fat quarter maakt me altijd gelukkig. Ik gebruik meestal 100%katoen, geen glimmende dunne stof. Ik hou van stofjes met een grote print, japanse kawaii stofjes, retro en 30's repro stofjes, maar alles waarvan jij vind dat het leuk is is prima. Ik hou van rood met witte stippen, matroeska's, cupcakes, woodland thema's.

My favourite colors are red, orange, (esp. mustard) yellow, aqua, teal and grey. Anything bright fresh and modern..

I dont like blue and purple. Things i do not like are incense, ATC-cards, matchboxes, papercraft supplies, stickers, food or drinks, things with a strong scent or anything too tacky or with glitters on it. Handmade items from cheap synthetic material. Please no varigating yarn or yarn with metallic or shine to it. PLEASE don't send me any of these, i don't know what to do with it, and will probably throw it out.

Ik hou niet van blauw en paars. Ik hou niet van wierook, atc's, gevulde luciferdoosjes, papier/scrapspullen, stickers, eten of drankjes, dingen met glitters erop of gewoon ordinaire dingen, ook handgemaakte dingen van goedkoop materiaal of gemeleerd garen of metallic iets erin hou ik niet van, waarschijnlijk gooi ik het dan ook weg en is het dus zonde van je werk.

When sending cosmetics, please make sure it doesn't have a strong scent, i dont use these, the smell makes me sick, i usually use my kids babyproducts.. Mocht je me cosmetica of zeep, parfum willen sturen, dan graag iets met een subtiel luchtje, sterke luchtjes kan ik niet tegen, ik gebruik dan ook meestal de babyzeepjes van de kids (mmmmm, zwitsal!)

Styles I do NOT like: modern art, tropical, novelty/i spy prints, commercial characters and animal prints, gothic/dark or religious, tribal.

Styles that are okay in small doses: kawaii.

Stijlen waar ik niet van hou zijn moderne kunst, tropical, kinderprints, commerciele karakters zoals bv disney, dierenprints, gothic, hekserij, relieus en tribal. Kawaii vind ik leuk met mate en spulletjes in Pip stijl vind ik wel helemaal leuk.

Woolfelted balls ( plain, with acorn caps or a necklace) I don't like other things made from felt, please don't send me these - gewolvilte balletjes, los, met een eikelkapje of een ketting. Verder houd ik absoluut niet van vilt, of dingen gemaakt van vilt, dus niet aan mij besteed.

My sons name is Cas, he was born july 2008. if you would like to surprise him, he likes:

punched out shapes (confetti) to make his own art, he is soo into glueing lately, stickers, car toys, animals (expecially cats and dogs), pencils, crayons, colouring books, dick bruna books, doll clothes for a 16" boy doll, vintage disney books 4 t clothing.Puzzles, 30 to 50 pieces. playmobil, lego. His favourite colours are red and aqua.

My daughters name is Noor, she was born april 5 2011. If you would like to send something for her:

clothing 6 to 12 months, bibs, burpcloths, fun socks, pacifiers and a clip to clip it to her clothes...Also Noor loves taking baths, so babyproducts for that would be nice too, sewing patterns for 6 to 12 months. The nursery is white with red, hotpink and orange, with a bit of a woodland theme too, lots of red with white polkadots here!!
