I am a married mother of two. My girls are grown and out of the house (most of the time!!) I took up knitting abot 3 years ago after my mother passed away. One of the girls at work got me started knitting hats for our chemotherapy patients. I have knitted a few of those!! I am still (I say) a beginner. I am just learning to knit socks and that is a chore for me. But I am trying!! I love my animals! 5 dogs to be exact! We have schnauzers, a chiuaua and a chocolate lab. I wish I had a farm!

As mentioned above, I love to knit but stick to the easier things to do.

Along with knitting all the time, I also try to fit in a good book. I like a good mystery but the mushy love stories are out!! I love cooking magazines!! My husband made me clean all mine out, so I only saved a few. So it is time to build my stash again!!

I love different yarns. Any colors do for me I am not particular! I mainly use it to make hats for my chemo patients so it has to be washable.

I love to cook as well. Don't cook as much s I used to, but will start againg! Baking is my favorite.
