I am an almost 40 yr old wife and mom. I have been an ICU nurse for 18 years. I live outside of Columbus Ohio in a cute little split-level on a little land. We have a pool and LOVE our summers. I love knitting, crocheting, soy candlemaking, sewing, running, reading, cooking and spending time with my husband and 2 kids. I have ran 12 half marathons and 1 full marathon. I enjoy taking walks, hikes, yoga, pilates and weightlifting. I love to cook, bake and grill. We have a cat and a rabbit. My daughter is 10 and my son is almost 8. I recently started my own blog about crafting, cooking, etc and am totally hooked-I post every day...almost!!
Susan Branch, Nicholas Sparks, James Patterson, Series of Unfortunate Events, cookbooks. I'm really enjoying reading some of my daughters books (she's 10). It started off as "checking them out" now I borrow her books!!! My new craze is blog reading-I could stay up all night!!!
Love Actually, Somewhere in Time, Emmet Otters Jugband Christmas, Pretty Woman, Coal-Miners Daughter, Pulp Fiction
Tv--Survivor, biggest loser, Grey's anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Project Runway, Sex and the City, LOST
I like just about anything..except Lima Beans. I love trying new recipes. I generally cook healthy and alot of vegetarian, but I do eat meat.
Knitting, crochet, sewing, I would love to try some simple embroidery. I'm working on my first felting project. I have aslo discovered the world of amigurumi.
GREEN!!! But actually, there's no color I don't like. I love florals and polka dots! My kitchen is a light sage green with white cabinets. The rest of my home is earth tones with reds and dark yellow.
