You know what's funny? A family friend of ours just announced her wedding for the weekend after ours. On top of that my fiance's birthday is exactly one month before mine and he was born one hour before me. Weird!
You've got a good enough record to host in my mind. Just keep an eye on swaps and get involved in them so we know you're staying active on the site ;-)
You can't own a traveler until you've hosted someone elses. It's more to make sure that everyone realizes how much work it is to have adventures and send on time (it's fun and worth it though!). It's also to make sure that people get involved in other travelers instead of only owning their own all the time. Get a little diversity in there hehe.
To laminate...well I didn't laminate mine (I was in a rush! Bad Dani!) but I know @crescendo just used laminating paper and cardstock in between the folds of the front and back covers.
