Hello.

Life with my beautiful new daughter is going well and I’m very much continually amazed by how great she is.

Life’s settling down now again and so might start a little light swapping once more.

I sometimes re-use packaging to help the environment. But only the outside packaging and I make sure I take extra time to wrap items up inside the packaging.

I am 35 years old and live in Yorkshire, UK - with my lovely husband, new baby daughter and cat.

I love crafting, listening to music, collecting soft toys, visiting interesting places, and having fun!

Please don’t be ‘put off’ by my name – I am not ‘scary’ and you wont get a load of skeletons or the like from me (unless you want to – he he he).

Please don’t stereotype me - it's an internet name I have used for years and so can remember it.

As you can see I love bright colours, I’m a Buddhist, a committed vegetarian (have been for most of my life), love nature and animals, and really very average. I am a complete mix of contradictions but am a very lovely person – see all the hearts I have – so please don’t judge a person by there online name and the stereo types you associate with it.

I am also a new mummy to the most amazing little girl - Poppy Ladybird (her real name). I love being a mummy and she's just so great. She's growing and developing so fast and has made my already cool life even cooler.

I love crafting - making cards, scrapbooking, ATC's, papercrafts, knitting, crochet, glass painting, rag rugging, making soft toys, rock painting and more.

I like all sorts really, mostly 'alternative' - goth, ska, punk, metal, rock, 80's, and folk.

My favourite colours are shocking pink, purple, blood red, electric blue, and black. And I do like some shades of green and blue and orange.

I love lots of lovely and interesting things. I like bright colours and shiny and glittery things, whilst at the same time as liking odd and strange gothic things too.

To add a list of all my favourite things would just be too boring to write and read. Hopefully all the above stuff will give you and idea of me and here are a few other snippets on information as well.

•DOMO! •Mary Engelbreit. •Ladybirds. •Penguins. •Things with stars on. •Teddy bears and soft toys. •Cats. •Stickers (the cuter the better). •Sea shells. •Fairies - but one's with attitude. •Pretty stationery and envelopes. •Anything Hello Kitty, Pucca, Winnie the Pooh, Kermit the Frog and the like. •Lovely papers. •Kawaii. •Strange and wonderful ‘gothic’ stuff, like Living Dead Dolls and similar. •Tim Burton – books mostly. •Art by Jasmine Becket-Griffith and similar art. •Miffy. •Beads - seed and bigger. •Tattoos and piercings. •Bags - funky, cool, cute and a bit childish ones. •Fountain pens and inks to go with them. •Pencil cases. •Balls of wool (new). •Blank note books for me to decorate. •And loads loads more – will add more as I think of them.

Some other facts –

•I am a vegetarian. •I have long hair and love hair clips and bobbles/scrunches. •I really love bracelets - especially stretchy beaded bracelets. •I love to celebrate and love Halloween, Christmas and Easter – I decorate the house and have lots of fun. •I’m not really into sport – but I do love shopping. •I’m in a very rewarding but not very well paid job. •I am a new mummy to a lovely little girl.

Some things I don't really like and wouldn't really like to receive -

•Food / candy / sweets. •Tea or coffee - i don't drink tea or coffee. •Books - got way too many that I don’t read as it is. •Comics - I like comic book characters but not the actual comics. •Things with cherubs or hearts on. •Things with birds on. •Items that are very pastel and bland. •Erasers. •Pencils - unless very specific to my tastes. •Felt-tip pens - unless Sacura. •Colouring pencils or crayons (got loads). •Items that smell of smoke or other horrid things. •Bath or skin products (and lip balm) – I have very sensitive skin.

Also known as ‘Domo-kun’, he is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several 30 second stop-motion sketches shown as station identification during shows. He is described as "a strange creature that hatched from an egg." Domo's favourite food is Japanese-style meat and potato stew, and he has a strong dislike for apples, due to an unexplained mystery in his DNA. Domo-kun is known to pass gas repeatedly when nervous or upset.
