I find myself totally wanting to delete my profile and start new. I don't deserve the kindness that comes from the amazingly lovely people here on SB. I feel that I have let everyone down, especially myself.
I live in Mid Coast Maine with my husband and 2 cats. The 4 of us enjoy driving each other bonkers.
I learned to crochet from my mom, who learned from her mom, who learned from her mom. It is and will always be my go to craft.
The following aren't really crafts, but are things that I enjoy swapping:
Recipes and recipe cards. I have gotten a lot of great recipes from swappers, and love looking into my recipe box and seeing such a wide variety of recipe cards. It makes it far more pretty!
Smash Book. I started with a tiny homemade smash book and now have added two Smash brand books! I really enjoy creating in them, and am constantly looking for inspiration.
Kawaii (see below)
Flowers especially hydrangea and roses (think vintage greeting cards)
Pink, blue, black, red, gray, purple, silver
cartoonized animals, especially hippos, farm animals and woodland creatures (skunks, racoons, deer, squirrels, etc)
Zotz candy, love them, but they are hard to find in my area
chocolate gummie bears (if you haven't had these, you need to find some pronto!)
coffee, coffee, coffee!! I am more then slightly addicted, but in a good way. I drink pretty much anything, but my ALL TIME favorite is coconut flavored coffee.
gum (esp. wintergreen flavors)
sharpie pens (esp. colored!)
Older, unused USA postage stamps
Stickers, especially animals and flowers
Odds and ends that you think would be good for incorporating into my Smash Book
My belief system does not include the celebration of any holidays or birthdays. If you have any questions about what to send me, please ask! If you have questions about my beliefs, I would love to answer them for you!
DOMO!! I am not sure if he is technically kawaii, but he is my favorite little guy, but I have a hard time finding anything with him on it.
Tenrorikuma - Little Bear/Raccoon animals that make coffee!! It combines so many of my favorite things, I have to LOVE it!
Kinoko no mori
Any woodland animals
Really, anything happy!!! :)
In my almost two years on SB, I have experienced many many many wonderful, amazing kind and generous swappers. I have built friendships, some of which have come to an end, but all helped me to know what type of swapper I am and want to be.
There have been a few bad experiences, but rather then focus on those, I will report them and move on. There are too many amazing experiences to be had to focus on the few negative ones.
