My name is Beth. I'm a 20 year old mama to a little boy, Levi, born October 4th, 2009! (He's a big boy - 10 pounds 5 ounces!)
NOTE about etsy faves: some of these items are here simply for my own artistic inspiration... if you are using my faves for ideas please let me know and i'll tell you which items fit this purpose.
I would LOVE to do some private swaps here and there - feel free to send me a message if you want to swap!
I have yet to have a package get lost in the mail, but I know it can happen easily - so, as a precaution, if you ever DON'T recieve a package from me for a swap and haven't gotten a message from me (which I will do if I have to send a swap late!), please let me know before leaving a rating. I assure you, I am not a flaker! Promise.
I call Kansas City home. It's a bittersweet feeling... I'd rather be in Louisiana or New York City, but being in the city here warms my heart.
I love to sew and have really been getting into all kinds of crafts. I love cooking and photography. Anything with a creative outlet. (I'm learning to scrapbook - I'm not very good at it yet, to say the least, but I'm working hard!)
I fell in love with colorguard when I joined the Winterguard my sophomore year of high school - if you have any idea what I'm talking about, I love you too. The thought of being smacked in the face/head with a flag pole or butt, rifle, or sabre doesn't even phase me anymore.
I've started a blog recently, there's not much to it at the moment, but feel free to check it out and maybe leave me a message. :) I'd love to hear from you. (www.imlilanglnot.blogspot.com)
I'm so excited to start swapping! I mean, who doesn't love mail, right? And I just love the idea of sending someone something that will hopefully just make them happy...
I'm currently working on opening an online store with custom orders. I'll post the link here once it's open and ready for customers :) I'm hoping to be able to make some of the products for swaps so I can experiment with them even more!
I wear a size small in most clothes, tops and bottoms, sometimes medium.
I am devastated by Patrick Swayze's death... call me what ever you like for being so upset over someone I never even knew, but hey - I loved that man. I seriously never expected him to go, he was like Superman to me.
I'll add more as I swap but I'm not picky! (atleast, I don't think I am - I guess we'll find out)
Levi - my little bear, can't say much about his personality yet, but I'll add things as he grows. :) Nothing "Daddy" please... we're having issues with him.(I never imagined that by mentioning him in my profile that people would be so generous and send so many clothes! We definitely don't need any clothes sized 0-9 months... I'm so greatful! Thank you!)
James - my younger brother. 12 years old. He loves Pokemon, Ben 10, Fairly Odd Parents, and Spongebob. Also tape, yes, tape. Althought he's not a fan of sweets, he does enjoy red licorice and those push pop hard candies.
Sarah - younger sister. 14 years old, and probably quite a bit harder to shop for than James. She loves Twilight (so, although I would be disguisted - she would be ECSTATIC if something Twilight came in the mail) and the Jonas Brothers, but other than that I can't be too specific. She spends most of her time alone in her room.
Cecelia - my mom has a collection of those souvenir spoons, and I'm sure some from other countries would be a very welcome addition! So far her spoons are all from the US and maybe one from Japan. She also loves dark chocolate.
more later.

I did them with pancake watercolours. I may've added white too, and that would be Acrylic paint.
If you're sure. :) And I'm glad the watercolours are okay too. I guess hairspray works pretty well then!
I'm hosting my first swap!

To The Nuts for Sewing Group!
I started this swap a few weeks ago! The requirements are slightly different if you'd like to take a look! I mean, can our SO's (could be anyone!) get enough goodies?!!! :D
Who Do You Love! Significant Other Swap
Thanks!
The lady just gave them to me! She said no one else had been looking at them and so she gave me an entire tote full of patterns. I haven't even looked at them all yet - there are easily 200 in there. Guess I better get busy! :)
Thanks for joining my swap! Congrats on your little boy! I'm obsessed with Audrey Hepburn as well! :) I just found a bunch of vintage patterns at a garage sale from way back (well way back to me - I'm only 22!) and they are very 'Audrey'. I can't wait to make some of them!
