Extra info: I am a straight forward person who doesn't like a lot of frills. Honesty is the best policy. I like spiral and skull designs, but not in a decorate-my-house-covered-in-that-decor kind of way. Also maple leaves, cos I love my country. I like being comfortable. A major interest of mine for as long as I can remember is music. I am learning double bass.......slowly. =]

I really like surprises and not knowing what to expect.

I love going on hikes and getting out. I like the idea of skateboarding and rock climbing and have done both to some extent, but my fear of heights and/or hurting myself usually interferes before I do anything too crazy. =] I read cookbooks voraciously, esp. ones that delve into non traditional sweeteners and flours. One of my favorite food blogs is 101 Cookbooks, though it is one of about 15 frequented blogs. =]

i LOVE color!! Bright or dark, and especially coordinating.

Crafty stuff: I have done all kinds of crafts, art, sewing, etc. If I make something I tend to use whatever means/method to make it "come together" as I see it in my head, so I appreciate any really unique knick knacks.

I like most types of candy, and am up for most anything. I don't like artificial flavors nor black licorice.

I have recently found myself addicted to macaroons, though those may be considered more a pastry.

Ward, Scissor Sisters, Ben Folds, Radiohead, Fischerspooner, White Stripes, She & Him, mellowdrone, Bishop Allen, Simian, Goldfrapp, Modest Mouse ... Not country unless it's classic (i.e. Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, etc.) I hate U2 (and I don't hate many things)

Not a TV watcher, but I like Season DVDs: Dexter, Freaks & Geeks, The Office, Big Love, Undeclared. And of course, Seinfeld/Family Guy/Southpark.

Holiday: Halloween

Colors: COPPER! I like Red/Black/White, also green, like the color of moss, and bright blue. (I generally don't like purple/pink/orange)

Magazines: The Sun, Venuszine, Bust, Gourmet/Bon Appetit, Good, Stop Smiling, Readymade, occasionally I like to leaf through Vogue. (Please, not lame girl or celebrity magazines. i.e. Cosmo, Glamour, People, etc.)

Coffee in all its forms Black licorice/strong anise, clutter Banana, Organized Religion, Mythical/Fantasy/Sci-Fi Anime
