It's on the way, I promise!

I work really hard to maintain my 5.00 rating, so please, please, please PM me if your package hasn't arrived. I ALWAYS send my swaps!! I live in Japan, but my mail is handled by the U.S. military. When I ship internationally my packages are routed through the U.S. before heading to their final destination, so the usual delays of shipping internationally are typically even longer for my packages. I usually anticipate a minimum of 2 weeks shipping time, but it can take much, much longer. PLEASE PM me if you're getting worried!

A bit about me....

I'm a 36 y.o. mom of 3 and proud Air Force wife. We are currently stationed in Japan and are loving every minute of it!

I love to read, travel and would love to garden, but my greenthumb is dead and black with little patches of puffy, white mold growing on it...well, you get the picture:)

Boob Tube Faves

I was a huge fan of Sex in the City and still love it on re-runs, loved, loved, loved the movie! I love all the CSIs, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, Army Wives and, weird as it sounds, I recently starting enjoying King of the Hill, go figure.

Favorite Flix

Romantic comedies are my absolute fave, but I love all kinds of flicks. My all time favorites are Bridget Jones' Diary and Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason. Also at the top of my list are: Love Actually, the Jason Bourne Trilogy and Elvis' Blue Hawaii.

Not so crafty

I'm not crafty at all :( but I want to be so badly! I've made a few sad attempts at scrapbooking, spent tons of $$$ on supplies, but didn't end up being very productive. Lots of the crafting swaps here look really fun and hopefully some might be do-able for craft virgins like me; I'd like to try a Dotee Doll...

Helpful Hints

I'll be an easy-cheesey partner to have! Everything makes me happy! The following hints aren't "wants" or "only send..." they're just a few ideas in case you need a little help getting to know me :)

I don't really have a favorite color, but I really like brown/pink and brown/light blue combinations.

The only thing I collect are turtles figurines, the rest of my stuff is just a collection of whatever happens to catch my eye! I've recently developed an affection for penguins, but haven't started any actual collecting.

Some things I might like to receive are a few of my favorite American things that I miss so much but can't get here:

♥ Teen magazines for my girls (Tiger Beat, J14, GL, etc.)

♥ Duncan Hines Blueberry Streusel and Cinammon Swirl muffin mixes!!!!

♥ PB&J cracker snack packs

I guess if I'm going to get crafty I should stock up on supplies: buttons, beads, felt, ribbon...any thing to help get me crafting!

I'm not a coffee or tea drinker and don't care for cinammon or floral scents. For smelly things I like citrus, melon, pear, any fruity type smells.

I LOVE candy, sweets of any and every kind (though I'm not a big fan of chocolates with mystery middles)

I love anything and everything kawaii (yes, I'm in hog heaven right now!).

I love office supplies, an obsession that has been taken to a whole new level here in Japan!

IMPORTANT Shipping Info!

Although I live in Japan, I have a U.S. military P.O. box, so if you're in the U.S, only domestic shipping charges are used (you only pay to ship to the west coast, the military picks it up from there for free!) but you'll still need to use a customs form.

Comment: If I could, I'd give a thousand hearts! Everything was way too cute!!! Edit june, eth: the first package took so long to arrive we thought it was lost, so she gently sent another package. In the end, it did arrive after the second one was sent. I've just received the second one and it is just as amazing as the first one!!! Brenda is wonderful, the contents were the best. Please, take this heart and make it x 1 million.^^

Hi there! Just wanted to let you know your office supplies swap is on it's way however the post office said it would take 4-6 weeks to get there! :( I had to send it surface mail as airmail was almost 20$ more. I hope you understand and I am truly sorry that it will take sooooo long! I'm in Canada and have never mailed anything to Japan before.... Please let me know when it arrives. Thank you and happy swapping! Brooke

I'm glad she got the package! Sorry it took longer to get it out than I originally said. I kept forgetting to grab it when I left. Did the shirt fit okay? Sorry I didn't send more Skittles, but I was lucky to find them at the time! Now I see them everywhere!
