About Me
I am married a wonderful man. We love to travel to different places and just generally have fun. I have a beautiful daughter who is a Surgical Tech at a local hospital. They are the loves of my life. Together my husband and I have an adorable apricot poodle named CiCi. CiCi loves to travel with us. We all live in rural East Texas and there is nothing like small town living!

Favorite Music
I love all kinds of music. I'm not particularly fond of the current country music. If it's gonna be country, it needs to be twangy!
Favorite Books
I love mysteries. My current fav author is Lisa Gardner.
Favorite Television
CSI, CSI-Miami, Snapped, Bones, The first 48...anything to do with crime mysteries. My husband thinks I'm obsessed with death but, it's solving the puzzle that intrigues me!
Favorite Crafts
I have been scrapbooking since Junior High School but have only gotten into it seriously in the last few years. I have dabbled in ceramics, tole painting and anything crafty. I have started making scrabble tile necklaces too.
I swap friendship books, label bags, sticker bags and friendship sheets. I'm an fb purist. I think nice and neat (N&N) or high quality (HQ) fb's are lovely and nice to look at but to only trade these types of fb's seems to diminish the spirit of or the idea behind a friendship book. I swap all kinds!
Likes
I love colorful stuff, travel stickers, fun stickers, Cinderella, princess stuff, cinnamon anything, silver, bronze, markers, earth tones, gem tones, gel pens, rubber and clear stamps of all sorts, anything to do with scrapbooking. A good mystery, flowers, yarn, felt, fat quarters, fabrics. Univ of Texas Longhorns! Texas Rangers and anything baseball! Poodles. Crazy cats! I swap fb's lb's and friendship sheets. Love anything I can use to make fb's and lb's. Used stamps, postcards, kites, hamburgers, summer, flip flops, hummingbirds.
Dislikes
Gold, frogs, snakes, bugs...anything crawly. Vampires - they just creep me out! Licorice. Coconut of any shape or form. Blue coconut snow cones, flake coconut and tanning oil. I only tolerate pools & the beach because I'm part fish.
Swap I really didn't flake on!
I participated in a Christmas recipe on a postie swap with five partners in 2008. Four of the five rated. The fifth rated a 1 without first contacting me. I told her I would send another and I sent that one in January 2009. No response or change. I contacted her in February and she said "I'll check" That's all I ever heard of that...I just accepted it.

It's funny how much you dislike coconut, as I LOVE it in all forms! Especially tanning oil. Hi! YAY youre from Texas too! Im in fort worth. Was born here in Texas and despite this crazy heat I just cant leave! I saw you like to scrapbook. I would LOVE to scrapbook but I just cant seem to get the hang of it! I sure hope youre staying cool in this heat. My husband just sent me a message from the weather channel saying it feels like 107 out there. That is TOO hot! I hope to travel someday and see something other than Texas! My husband was transferred for 2 years to Hot Springs, Arkansas and we travelled all over the south while living there. Some of our best friends moved to Mineola, TX shortly after we left. I loved it down there! I also scrapbook but I'm the complete opposite of you and LOVE coconut, the smell, the taste, everything. I'm with you on the creepy crawlys though. I was watching your monkey clip above, crazy monkey! I also was just recently rated a one unfairly, it's so frustrating not getting responses to my queries and offers. Hello from Chicago! I enjoyed reading your profile because it was a fun read! I am also a big fan of CSI: Miami! I am actually watching it right now on DVD! LOL!
I attempted scrapbooking in Junior High as well, but haven't really gotten into it too much. I am looking to start back up again but it's so hard to find the motivation! I have recently become interested in making shadowboxes, which comes out similarly to scrapbooking but comes with it's own display unit! :)
I am also not a fan of coconut!! I don't mind the tanning oil coconut scent, but I hate raw coconut and anything flavored with coconut -real or fake!
