About Me
I'm a 40 something female that loves to knit and read. I have a husband and 3 children and I teach school- 4th Grade in the UAE. I live in the United Arab Emarites in Al Ain. I sing in a Masterworks Choir and I love most colors, but yellow really makes me smile. I drink tea all the time (love black teas), but I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CHAMOMILE AND MINT TEAS MAKE ME ILL!
Favorite Music
Classical and jazz are my two favorites. I especially love Brazilian Jazz!
Favorite Movies
The Color Purple, Babe the Pig, Glory, Steel Magnolias and other movies that are similar. I must admit I love a good Lifetime movie, as well. The Spiderman trilogy rocks! I've always loved Star Trek!!!
Favorite Television
House, Hell's Kitchen,Star Trek - all of them!, Project Runway, Glee, General Hospital.
Favorite Crafts
Knitting socks is my favorite hobby. I love to knit socks with different colors - esp. bright colors! I'm working on my embroidery skills as well. I also love to read and I like to hear about what others are reading. I like to journal, but have been flaked on most of the journal swaps I've done.

Baking bread and other goodies from scratch! Recipes are always fun, and I really like them on recipe cards.
I love historical fiction - esp. about the kings and queens of England.

malas (also known as prayer beads or rosaries)
hand sewn items would be a real treat! A tea wallet, over the chair sewing organizer, etc.
Address labels would be great!

Here's a late December Wishlist thank you! Thank you so much for sending my children Christmas cards and teas - they love them! Thank you also for sending me a card (and teas) telling me about your holiday donations. I loved hearing about it. :-) My kids loved putting "their" cards on our front door. (We decorate our front door with all the holiday card we receive) Thank you again!
I am your partner for the prayer journal and as I have looked back over it, it isn't the most creative journal but it is from my heart. What are you looking for in the swap? I would like to make you happy with the swap so should I go back and redo (not the prayers) so it looks better or do you want the orginal? I really took this prayer journal serious but it isn't cute.
