I work for a residental treatment center. I work the graveyard shift so I have lots of time on my hands. To keep myself awake at night I watch movies and work on different crafts.

I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism , where we recreate the middle ages "as they should have been". Right now I am the "vice" president for our Kingdom . I am very active in our home group, the Barony of Fontaine dans Sable I love all things medieval. In the SCA we have "peers" for different things, like chivalry, arts and sciences and service. Peers are able to take on "students". I am a student to Pelican (service peer). Just because I think it is interesting to know my profile picture is my registered device (coat of arms) with the SCA. No one else can use that device. I also shoot target archery.

I love spending time with my four nieces and my nephew. Whitney is 4 and just loves My Little Ponies, The Little Mermaid and Dora. Audrey is 3 and loves Tinker Bell, Strawberry Shotcake, horses, Hello Kitty and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Scotty is 3 and loves the Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Spiderman and Thor. Zoey is 2 and LOVES Sleeping Beauty. Jaime is 10 months old. So I have plenty of time to get her to like something her parents will hate. I like to do kids swaps because they love getting new things, especially if they get to open it themselves.

I collect pressed pennies and shot glasses. Some day I hope to have pennies and glasses from all 50 states. Its a work in progress. I also collect "flare" buttons. If you have seen Office Space you will understand the reference.

I have a miniture schnauzer named Greta. She is my rescue puppy. I love her like a child. Especially when I crawl in bed in the morning and she is curled up next to me. Is weighs about 12 to 14 lbs. She loves treats and anything she can chew on/chase.

My new love is motorcycles. I am saving up to buy my own. But for now I just enjoy crusing around with my brother.

I enjoy sewing, ceramics, scrapbooking, beading, making medieval scrolls, tablet weaving. I'm always up for trying a new craft. I also crochet and I am teaching myself to knit. I love making ATCs.

I just started making dotee dolls. Its fun and challenging.

In fact I have a glitter problem.

I have very recently learned about Smash Books. Like in the last 3 weeks. So I am stilll very new to this whole thing. But I think I am already addicted.

I love movies. All movies. I own over 300 movies. I particularly love horror flicks, not slasher flicks but real horror movies; like MindHunters, Ammityville Horror, Silence of the Lambs and the like. But there is a place for all movies in my heart.

I love music...almost all kinds. I do not like rap or hip hop. But everything else is great. My Pandora radio stations include country, broadway hits, oldies, metallica, linkin park, disney, and evanescence.

I have been super lucky to not receive things I do not like, but I figure I should do this now to save my furture partners any problems.

I HATE pink. I'm okay with every other color, though not big on pastels.

I HATE Valentines day. I have for years and nothing will change that.

I do not like seeing books torn up. It makes me sad. However if you use book pages on your ATCs or what not I will not mind, but please do not send me extras that include book pages.

I do not like Kawaii. However I do love Hello Kitty, but thats it.

I do NOT drink coffee. I drink some herbal teas, pretty much just mint. I do not like fruit teas or caffinated teas. Love hot chocolate though.

I have some pretty crazy allergies, especially to foods. I decided to go ahead and list them, but would also like to note that as far as the food allergies go I can usually find ways around them.

Raw onions, bell peppers, coconut, melons, bananas, nuts (except peanuts), and seafood. I can do fresh water fish though. I am allergic to artifical sugars. Anything that is derived from Aspertame makes me very sick. So if it says low calorie or sugar-free it's a big no no for me.

I am also allergic to cats and latex.
